I really enjoyed my dinner at Gabrieau's. I had the ceasar salad, scallop gnocchi, and a dessert duo of chocolate soufflé and layered chocolate pistachio mousse cake with raspberry crème. This was one of the best meals I had in Nova Scotia. The restaurant is one of the first things you see when you get downtown and I could tell... More

Great menu options and friendly owners. Not sure if sushi fits in with italian/french fare, but I guess fish can't get fresher in Nova Scotia! Execellent vegetarian options.

A terrific way to end a fun filled family reunion and to celebrate a fiftieth wedding anniversary, dinner at Gabrieau's Bistro. The ambience was perfect, the service was friendly and excellent, and the food and wine delicious. For a small town the diner was way beyond our expectations.

I asked the type of oyster the restaurant was serving and the server was very rude and made us feel very uncomfortable. The negative attitude was so bad I asked for the manager to get a different server. I have never had to do this before!

We were really surprised by this restaurant, we knew that it is not at a level of fine dining , and it was not... But it exceeded our expectation for the creativity and quality of the food .... The chef is truly a genius- Salute I give it five stars for food I give it Four stars for service; our... More

This restaurant offers gourmet dining at a not too expensive price. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the wine list and food offerings. The food was well-prepared - salad was crisp and not over-dressed; pasta dish was nice -- to overly sauce and pasta al dente as it should be. The service was a bit slow -- they had... More

Starting off I'd like to say that I've loved this restaurant for years, normally going on special occasions since it is a pricey night out. I was looking forward to be wined and dined along with my girlfriends who also LOVE this place. Going to Gabrieau's is believed to be an "experience", and that it certainly was. As a lady... More

The food at this restaurant is awesome. Portions tend to be small and pricy. The atmosphere is just ok.

After Convocation ceremonies at St. FX University, we went to Gabrieau's for a celebration diner. The food was excellent and the owner took the time away from the kitchen to visit with patrons on this special night. I highly recommend this establishment in Antigonish for your next dining experience.
