Listen, we all got together Friday night for some snacks and some drinks out at the Townhouse. We hung out with Terry and Rose it was like it was just like a kitchen party at your own home. It was so down-to-earth I'd recommend anybody. great place to have your Christmas party!

First time at Town House and enjoyed all of it. My bangers and mash were wonderful and service was excellent!

My boyfriend and I were travelling thru Antigonish and used tripadvisor to pick a restaurant for dinner, one that served lobster on their menu. We were not disappointed. He had the lobster chowder and I had the lobster macaroni and cheese. Huge chunks of lobster in both of our dishes. The pub was quite busy for a Monday night. We... More

The chowder and bacon-wrapped scallops were tasty. I highly recommend the bread pudding dessert. Young jazz group came in as we were leaving. A fun spot.

I will say I love this cute little pub. I am always troubled as to who my waiter or waitress is. Every time I go I have 2 or 3 different people waiting on me. I usually have to call someone over to bring me another drink. I wish they would introduce themselves as my server so I have a... More

I have been to the Townhouse a couple of times nows and I leave each time more confused as i am not sure what the place is trying to be. I must say that the owners are awesome and have the beer menu to almost perfection for those looking for a beer menu with a lot of different local selections,... More

Great local craft beer selection, wine list is limited with too much mark-up. Food is excellent but expensive. Ambiance is jovial but controlled, you almost feel like your at church sometimes not a Pub. This is where I believe they could improve upon, being a tad more laid back and friendly while improving customer service (more attention to the empty... More

Any food I have ever ordered from them has always been amazing. I cannot say the same about their customer service. Their waiting team is always busy talking to each other. If you're not too far away from them they will speak loudly from their desk asking how everything is, which I don't believe is very professional. At least walk... More

It was crazy busy here on a Friday night but our server was delightful and did his best. He recommended a pilsner that was awesome and my husband and I had a decent meal. Good atmosphere, but crowded...so if you like some elbow room you might want to look elsewhere.

Our first visit and gastropub describes the food - but inadequately. We had both chowders and they were superb. I also had the beef and ale pie and it was interesting as well as delicious. Beer and ale selections are huge and the wine list is good. Nice atmosphere with terrific service. Not cheap but well worth the cost..Not possible to fault... More
