Had lunch here. Had a wonderful seafood chowder with lots of lovely ingredients and great flavour. Restaurant ideally situated on the Main Street right opposite Fort Anne itself. To be recommended!

Enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich and soup. Hubby had a burger (tiny little thing). Fish plate and clams were expensive so we opted out... overall average.

Love the menu at Fort Anne! Great staff and food and good prices too. They have the best burgers and fries around. I hear the fish is great too but I'm so hooked on the burgers I usually have that!

Large portions of fresh fish and fries. Great onion rings. My grandson loves to visit and get nuggets and fries.

We had a quick lunch which was quite good and the service was good and served incredibly fast. We laughed at the people standing at the chip truck across the street as our food cost no more and we were served before they were half way through the line. Right on the main street and across from the fort.

Waitress was rude, my wife has a dairy allergy and expĺained this. Ordered 1/2 club and soup , no mayo. The women cooking was in the background complaining continuously that it was too hard to make half a club. If you do not want to serve 1/2 sandwich do not put it on your menu. My wife finally said make... More

Excellent turkey club sandwich with real turkey breast meat (not packaged nitrate type), fresh tomato and lettuce. Children menu with options to tailor to the youngsters. Small drink sizes available as well.

This little cafe is a typical diner that is not for everyone. I saw a few people take a peek inside and quickly leave to look for something else. It is a diner and not a cafe! You know, ugly tables, carpeting, old washrooms etc. The food is typical for a diner too (Club sandwich, hamburgers, comfort food etc.). Decent... More

On a frosty November 1st morning, we happily found ourselves at Fort Anne Cafe for breakfast. With tourist season done and lots of restaurants closed for the season, we were doubly grateful for the warmth of both staff and other patrons--all of whom were clearly locals who eat here and gather as friends every day. With a hearty breakfast of... More

This is lovely cafe with an interesting original tin ceiling. The milkshakes (Strawberry, Chocolate, Vanilla and Coffee) are wonderful. The service is very friendly and with a smile. The rest of the menu is good and very reasonably priced.
