I have been there several times and won't go again. they are over priced and when I went for a meal the experience was terrible. The waitress was the daughter of the owners and was too busy trying to hear what everyone said to take care of the person she was taking an order from. One couple just got up... More

This family run bakery/ restaurant was very welcoming. Good selection of sandwiches and delicious soup. Went down well with some German beer. Coconut cookies were delicious!

Came in after the holiday for a loaf of bread and was sold a day old, frozen overnight, loaf. No wonder they put it in a bag before I could touch it. Suggest you go elsewhere.

The food was fine, the service was fine, and the restaurant was fine. Lunch was fine, but nothing special and quite expensive. The bread was really hard, but the pastries were very good. I found the cookies to be really dry. The service was a bit slow considering we were the only customers and the girl was not terribly friendly.

First - we hit this place in between two buses. Its not that big! So, knowing that, we still got pretty decent service. I was impressed. I had the wienerschnitzel (sp?) sandwich and my son had salami. Both were good. What stood out though, were the desserts. It was very hard to choose. I had the strawberry-cheese danish thing. My... After visiting Fort Anne we decided to stay and have dinner before driving to Mavillette where we were staying the night. It was a great decision, we love German food and it did not disappoint the food here is delicious. My husband and I had a pork schnitzel with mushroom sauce and potato salad, we also had a bowl of... Ate a lunch here on a quiet day. Two not very large bowls of soup served with some toasted bread (because day old?) came to $20. The goulash soup was watery and grey broth with tough bits of beef and some vegetables floating in it. The carrot and coconut soup was worse. No flavor of either carrots or coconut milk,... More

Very friendly waitress who served us. Pastries and coffee lovely, she persuaded me to try my iced coffee the German way with ice cream and cream. Perhaps not too good for the diet!!

We stopped here because one of our children had to use the bathroom and when we got inside and saw all the delightful pastries on display we absolutely had to stay and try the food. I will say that the prices are a tad bit higher than I would have expected in such a small town, but as my Father... More

We went too early in the morning. I think we got yesterdays' baked items. What we bought we took with us on our journey.Use of a microwave might have helped bring back the freshness.
