Fresh Food left the building before we got there on the two occasions that we stopped in....the pastries are old, overpriced and we will not be burned again.

Centrally located with indoor and outdoor seating. This family-run business (Mum, Dad and daughter) serves delicious German dishes (eg. Goulash and Spãtzle) as well as more 'Canadian' food (Smoked Salmon). The parents are bakers and pastry chefs so the bread is fresh and the pastries lovely. Service was good, and staff are very friendly and helpful if you're not sure... More

I would request that the owners of this establishment stop padding their ratings with excellent reviews whenever a customer writes the truth about their restaurant's shortcomings. It's as blatantly obvious as when they write fake notes in their guestbook.

Had lunch here every day of our stay in Annapolis and enjoyed it. Susanna was a great hostess and my husband enjoyed the sweet things.

We stopped here by accident and are glad we did. The salami was authentically German as was the sauerkraut and service , if a little slow, was chatty and helpful. We couldn't resist a take out cheesecake. We would happily return.

We enjoyed a great meal so we thought we would get some baked goods to go. Unfortunately the baked goods did not live up to the level of the meal. The pretzel with lunch was fresh but the one bought to go was as hard as a rock. The cookies were okay but nothing to write home about.

We had lunch here one day and went back to get sandwiches and cookies for the road. The bread is wonderful and so was my seafood stew. My husband could not pass on the goulash, which I tasted and was a little mild for my buds. The best thing about this place is it is family run and the care... More

Before purchasing, be sure to verify the price and freshness of the baked goods. Don't be dazzled by the idea of an authentic German bakery experience.

My husband and I happened along this restaurant quite by accident while on vacation. We were totally charmed and captivated by the owners. Not only was the food exceptional...but since it was quiet...we were given a tour. I was very pleased to see the quality of the ingredients and care that goes in to their food. They even go so... We stopped for sandwiches and pastry/ very cheerful and helpful people-great Wiener schnitzel sandwich and smoked salmon on great kaiser rolls- and pastries authentic and really good- they were rewarded a day later when Germany won the World Cup!
