This place is a Gem

We have been here before it is very small but the meal we all had was excellent and the service was quick. This is in the middle of Town down by the market and has an outdoor patio. We really liked the hidden door way behind the Bookcase. Added to the charm.

This restaurant has a nice location in the heart of historic Annapolis Royal with lots of parking nearby. We've eaten here several times and always enjoyed the meal. The menu is definitely pub style! The prices are reasonable and portions should satisfy even the biggest appetites. The onion rings and fish and chips we had this time were great! They... More

Good beer, friendly service, good sized portions of food and good value. Mainly fried food but very tasty. Sat out on decking on market day so lot of action. The inside is a bit darker and more basic but nice feel to place and for drink or pub food could do far worse.

An informal fun pub with some great unusual food. The raw scallops appetizer is great as is the herring. Seafood cakes were also great and fried clams were solid. Good beer list and super friendly service. A great casual way to experience this town's food.

Oh my, we stumbled upon this pub while escaping our crazed Inn keeper, Faith at the King George Inn. For those Torontonians and persons from central Canada you haven't experienced herring until you've had the lightly vinegared Solomon Gundy with a side of sour cream. We're used to the deeply pungent taste of herring preserved in vinegar sold at the... More

Stopped here for an evening meal as it was midway between where we had spent the day and our accommodation. The staff were friendly and easily accommodated our party of nine. The food was good and I recommend the potachos (potato nachos) an experience not to be misses!

Looking for somewhere to eat at Sunday lunchtime, we decided to try this establishment following a good recommendation in the Lonely Planet Guide Book. Boy were we disappointed. Since it was a warm, sunny day we sat on the front decking. Good job we did because if we'd gone inside we wouldn't have stayed. Grubby, smelly pub with very dirty... More

This little pub right off the main street makes you think you've stepped into London. Great food, service and atmosphere. Great little patio area, which would have been perfect if a group hadn't brought their children along. We did end up moving inside, which was a bit small, but you did get some elbow room.
