Tasty and friendly

This is a very good place. Great location just off the market grounds behind the old post office building. We sat on the patio straight away so I could not say much a out the interior or the decor. The patio was comfortable and we were happy to have the big umbrella when it started to rain. We... read more

Stopped here on our way to Halifax from Upper Clements. Took a few minutes to find: Google sent us to a side street and parking lot, and if there hadn't been a pic of the building on here, I never would've spotted it hidden across a square/lot. We were greeted quickly and casually. Seemed to be busy (maybe more than... More

The clams are not heavily coated with batter so you taste the clams. The steak special is delicious.

A beautiful warm sunny day! The waitress was fun and friendly! Good to the kids! Lots of good choices... Tried the Ship Builders Cider , a local Nova Scotia Craft Cider... Yummy! A perfect summer day on the patio!

Not great service when we were there and not overly accommodating to allergies. Found it a bit pricey for pub food.

Found this gem while walking around Annapolis Royal on a hot sunny afternoon (rare this year). Meal and service were excellent. Scallops on the menu were breaded but asked for pan fried - no issue and they were excellent! Worth a visit.

We have been here before it is very small but the meal we all had was excellent and the service was quick. This is in the middle of Town down by the market and has an outdoor patio. We really liked the hidden door way behind the Bookcase. Added to the charm.

This restaurant has a nice location in the heart of historic Annapolis Royal with lots of parking nearby. We've eaten here several times and always enjoyed the meal. The menu is definitely pub style! The prices are reasonable and portions should satisfy even the biggest appetites. The onion rings and fish and chips we had this time were great! They... More

Good beer, friendly service, good sized portions of food and good value. Mainly fried food but very tasty. Sat out on decking on market day so lot of action. The inside is a bit darker and more basic but nice feel to place and for drink or pub food could do far worse.
