We came here with a large group. The food was great, with wonderful sandwiches served on freshly baked buns and generous portions of delicious baked rhubarb dessert. The service was amazing, with attentive, organized, smiling servers and minimal waiting. We were quite pleased! After lunch we were all full, but that didn't stop us from taking home baked goodies from... More

The baked goods are quite overpriced and you can't depend on the freshness of the products. Before purchasing, be sure to check the price and freshness of all baked goods.

Wouldn't think you would find German food in NS but we happened to be hungry and went in. Cute atmosphere, pleasant waitress. We had goulash soup, port schnitzel sandwiches and everything was very good. The desserts on the other side of the restaurant looked so good but we just didn't have the room with that big lunch.

We enjoyed getting a bakery treat and sitting outside on their patio, under an umbrella, to sip our drinks and watch the world go by. It is centrally located to the shopping/touristy part of Annapolis Royal, so it made a fine stop when we needed a break. Good pastry!

we had the opportunity to enjoy our lunch on the patio with some great German beer, schnitzel sandwich and wonderful soup. the food may seem pricey but, they make all their own bread and when all is said and done, you are full when you leave, without having a pile of greasy fries on your plate (try the multi grain... Nice spot for lunch or just a dessert break. Great pastries, baked fresh daily, homemade soups and good sandwiches.

A group of friends stopped in upon arriving in Annapolis for a late supper as the choices in town at the time were limited. We each ordered a sandwich which we all agreed were overpriced for such a small sandwich. There were very little fillings and the bread was very dry. I saw mostly plate I admit and I assumed... More

U thoroughly enjoyed the owners and their fabulous food. My family sat outside at a table along the road into downtown one day after visiting the Sat farmer's market. I enjoyed everything from the entrée to the dessert. Casual atmosphere and unusual food for the region.
