Nice spot for lunch or just a dessert break. Great pastries, baked fresh daily, homemade soups and good sandwiches.
A group of friends stopped in upon arriving in Annapolis for a late supper as the choices in town at the time were limited. We each ordered a sandwich which we all agreed were overpriced for such a small sandwich. There were very little fillings and the bread was very dry. I saw mostly plate I admit and I assumed... More
U thoroughly enjoyed the owners and their fabulous food. My family sat outside at a table along the road into downtown one day after visiting the Sat farmer's market. I enjoyed everything from the entrée to the dessert. Casual atmosphere and unusual food for the region.
First time going to the bakery, only had two sandwiches available on their menu, a salami & liver one. I had the salami, it was decent, good in size.. but I would not get it again. The Lady working was very nice, but must have asked what we wanted on our sandwich 4 times, coming back numerous times to make... More
The deserts were better than the lunch fare. Although the service was a little slower than we would have liked, the people working there were friendly and otherwise helpful.
I made the trip to this little bakery every time I was in the area. Food with fabulous. Have no had a chance to see the new restaurant, but friends say the service has some kinks to be worked out. Have visited them at the Seaport Farmers' Market as well. Not as good as at the store as it is... More

Portions look small when they arrive but the richness of the food more than compensates. Pastries are particularly delicious. Unfortunately service is also typically German - waitstaff was friendly but inefficient and there were huge... More

Dear Husband had a sandwich so he would have room for a pastry after lunch, which he declared to be excellent. The cafe dining room is small but sunny, and served by one waitress/cashier. As... More
The food might be good but I didn`t get the chance to try any of it. I was courious to see how this place works and I found a very unfriendly and unpatient owner. I was wondering about the price for a bread and couldn`t make up my mind strait away. She was looking at me very unfriendly saying: "So... More
