We live nearby, but hadn't been in for a while. My partner had the burger, which was fresh and hot. It looked like a nice man-sized serving. Fries were fresh and hot. I had the Greek wrap. It was fresh and tasty, but there was too much lettuce and dressing. The chicken didn't appear to be grilled. Beer and cider... More

I spent most weekends at Joes as a teenager and return as frequently as I can but recently their food appears to have gone downhill. My favourite dish the Scottskins used to be full of spice but now are just overcooked potatoes with little to almost no seasoning. I gave them a 2nd and 3rd chance, even a 4th thinking... More

Booked at Joe's for our New Years Eve family dinner. I was very happy with the meal we had. The food was very good the portions were generous and the service was excellent. I must admit that i had previously thought of Joe's as more of a frat house/sports bar hangout, but I was wrong. There was a good atmosphere,... More

We were in the kentville area and had a chance to try some local restaurants. We gave joe's a try because it looked busy. I guess busy does not always mean good. I will tell you about a few of the things that I didn't like. The French fries were boring, cold and lacked any flavour at all. I am... More

My boyfriend and i have been going to Joes for 4 years, and every time we get scottskins with cheese. It is by far my favorite restaurant, and I'd go there every day if i could! The prices are fair enough and the service has almost always been perfect! I will continue to eat at joes and i look forward... More

They have the best pizza ever!!...The potato skins are good but didnt like the additional spice they add. Would have been great without it.

Had fish and chips and a beer at Joe's the last two Thurs eves. Might make it a habit! Lots of fish and lots of chips and a 20 oz beer...well, that is lots! Good too! Service great! Live music. Morgan Davis played but had to get some shut eye. Good, clean bar, great food and tunes! Night out? Yup!

I ate at this restaurant nearly every day as a student. Back for homecoming 12 years later and had to see my old hangout. Scotskins with cheese and bacon are still one of the best foods created. There are more than 25 spices used with a recipe only known to a select few. Worth the trip. Open late after the... More
