This is a first rate restaurant deserving of the accolades it is receiving

I was reminded after a stellar dinner at the Blomidon Inn that this is a first rate restaurant, and a place you'd be proud to take anyone to, which is just what we did as we went with friends for an anniversary celebration. The salmon was to die for. Cooked to perfection with a lovely dill sauce accompanied by fresh veggies. The soup was a cold soup with a lovely "fresh" taste. excellent,

We stayed here on a Saturday night in July. We were in the Perkins Cottage, which is separate from the main Inn and is nice and private. The cottage has everything you would want. A huge king size bed, air conditioning ( or heat), propane fireplace, small kitchenette with sink, dishes, bar frig, a sitting area with antique settee, TV,... More

The Inn looks to be GREAT. We did not stay there but did eat there. The food and service were both really good and I would recommend this BA&B to anyone looking for a great experience.

The Blomidon Inn is a lovely old Victorian house with beautiful gardens surrounding it (frog ponds, iris pond, rhododendron garden etc). We arrived 30 minutes before our dinner reservation to walk round them; it was well worth it. We chose the 3-course dinner special, which was the second best meal we had in 2.5 weeks of travelling around Nova Scotia.... More

I've been here a number of times and always enjoy it. Set in a historical Inn, this provides an up class meal at a reasonable price. Surrounded by antiques and art, the small menu offers few, but excellent choice. The staff are friendly but formal, which matches the rest of the dinning experience. Special occasion or formal tea time? This... More

I love the Blomidon Inn for special occasions. This Victorian type Inn is not in perfect, gleaming shape, but at night, it is very atmospheric and you might expect to see a ghost or two on the staircase.

My wife and I were here for lunch on a beautiful, sunny Saturday. We sat out on the large outdoor deck. The service is professional and down home friendly, thanks Maxine. The food is fresh, delicious and well presented. This may be the best lobster chowder I have ever tasted and the in house made molasses brown bread couldn't be... More

Staff were very friendly and helpul in allowing us to substitue vegetables we did not like. The menu offered a special each night at a fixed price, and we could also choose from the menu. food was well prepared and presented. Prices for alcohol very very reasonable. Wish we had a place like this back home

Food is very good. Nice environment for a relaxing meal, especially for a special occasion. Price is reasonable and the service is above average.
