Taking out my cousin for dinner before she returned to England after 3 week visit.

We had the March 9th special, Chicken Elizabeth, stuffed with cheese , spinach and crab meat. The crab meat was not to my liking. However the meal was delicious, and I was too full to have dessert .this is my favourite place to go for a special meal.

We had dinner here while on a visit to tour Acadia University. We were a family of 3 celebrating a birthday and they were able to accommodate us on fairly short notice. The service was attentive with the timing of our plates brought out at just the right time. The appetizers were wonderful and the mains did not disappoint. Our... More

My friend from High School from many years ago and I go to lunch every year now to celebrate our birthdays. Blomidon is kind of central for us. It is a historic building that is an inn and a restaurant. They have some pleasant lunch specials. It is a bit pricier than some other places for lunch, but it has... More

My wife and I ate there during Devour and found the service and food to be outstanding. The place has a lot of character and old world charm, no complaints and I am very critical when it comes to dining!

My wife and I have been regulars here for quite a few years. We're both fairly critical of our meals, but have never had cause for complaint at the Blomidon Inn. Food has always been fantastic (just love the planked salmon!), the ambiance is wonderful, and the staff (e.g. Mike, Alan) are always friendly and knowledgeable. Even though there are... More

This does not compare to restaurants in Halifax but it was very good for the area. The staff is nice and takes good care of you. They menu is not elaborate but they have something for everyone. I ate here twice while staying at the inn. Once I had the cedar plank salmon and once two lobster tails. The salmon... More

Had my birthday party here...age range from 2 to 71. With 13 people we got a private room..the kids could play, the grown ups could chat. The service was great, the food and wine excellent. Best of all we got served and fed, didn't have to do the clean up but felt like we were eating at home. Who could... More

The atmosphere of this old Victorian Inn is charming and cozy. The food has always been interesting and well presented.
