A Pleasant Lunch

We stopped for lunch in Wolfville in our way to Halifax. The Inn had great reviews so we decided to give it a try. I ask for unsweet tea, which they do not usually have, but made some fresh very promptly. Bread was brought with the drinks and it was fluffy and delicious. The lobster chowder was... read more

My favourite place to stay, to have lunch, or to enjoy the Captain's Dinner. Although it is not far from home, it is a romantic getaway. The staff is wonderful, the gardens are beautiful, the rooms are antique havens, and the food is always superb! It is a piece of Heaven on earth.

This is a very nice restaurant in a lovely inn. Upon entering the lobby we were rather put off by the snooty attitude of the maître-de, he clearly wanted us to leave. He left us, supposedly checking for a available table. When he didn't return,we decided to proceed towards the restaurant. He saw us and said something to a young female server.She... More

Very affordable and unique flavours such as butternut squash and peach soup . Victorian building once owned by a sea captain.

My daughter and I had both dinner and breakfast at the Blomidon Inn. I've eaten all over the world and so I'm pretty critical about food, but this place was great. And the service was awesome. Don't skip appetizers and dessert at dinner. And leave time to walk through the lovely gardens.

I agree with a previous contributor that the salmon is to die for. Absolutely the best tasting salmon I have ever tasted and the fresh baked bread is addicting. We had 3 breakfasts and 2 meals there and never had a anything that was not great. The chef has the seasoning down to a fine science. Not only do you... More

I was reminded after a stellar dinner at the Blomidon Inn that this is a first rate restaurant, and a place you'd be proud to take anyone to, which is just what we did as we went with friends for an anniversary celebration. The ambiance is very good, and I disagree with some reviewers who say it is outdated; it... More

The salmon was to die for. Cooked to perfection with a lovely dill sauce accompanied by fresh veggies. The soup was a cold soup with a lovely "fresh" taste. excellent,
