We visited this restaurant on 29 August 2014 and could not find it apart from a sign on the front of the building. The server at the neighboring Twist Burger Bar told us that Fuego was closed for the summer.

The service, the atmosphere, and the food were very good. I found it to be quite pricey. They have a nice selection of wines.

A little while ago, the restaurants doors were locked, but it reopened after a few days saying they had a water leak. However, now it's closed again and the phone # is out of service.

Basicaly it has great potential and the food is great sometimes but sometimes not. Same goes for the atmosphere - sometimes good and nice music and sometimes there is a bad live musician and the music is too loud, sometimes too hot sometimes too cold. I've had amazing food before and other times I was disappointed, either way the food... More

Saved the best for last. Had a nice steak with bernaise sauce and the service was great! Would definitely recommend.

Nice variety of appealingly presented and delicious items on the menu. They had a musical duo the evening we were there, and they were enjoyable but not intrusive. Excellent experience

based on reviews i knew that the food would be pricey. but the food was good so it didn't feel like a rip off. for one thing, you are in yellowknife, not toronto. my husband and i were happy to have this option (as well as Thornton's). my husband had seafood chowder (too creamy for my taste) and i had... Used to be much more reliable food experience at Fuego's..now they are out of almost everything on the menu when I go so I pretty much don't go anymore....steak with mushroom sauce does rock your world when its available. Fairly pricey for the recent experiences I've had there....need to get back to the old way of doing things and focus... More

I went out for a work dinner at Fuego. The ambiance was just as I remembered. There was also live music, which almost seems recorded until you see the musician. It is lovely and unobtrusive. Perfect background noise. Our drink and meal orders were taken quite quickly. The drinks appeared delayed in arriving, but it was the meal service that... More
