Pub in the town

The best aspect of this pub is that it is downtown and well fashioned inside. It does not appear to be a microbrewery, but imports its brews what few they have. While it is the best in town, it is not the best in Canada. There is another similar pub on remote west end of town. It is... read more

Food was good. In fact, it is very difficult to find an open restaurant in this town and this was open. That in itself was a good thing. The food was typical pub fare and decent.

Great beer and service - decent food. Great place to meet locals, while at all times being made to feel very welcome.

So you're in Yellowknife for some reason. There are a lot of sad dark corners for you to belly up to and drink a bottle of bud. However, if you're one of those sophisticated types who can use words like "lager" and "ale' and "draught" maybe you'd like to drink in a normal bar. A place that has several beers... More

Food was great and didn't take long to get it. Waitresses were friendly with a good assortment of beer and food.

The food was good and the drinks where great. We spent three days in town and basically ate here. The third night, they handed our usual drinks to us as we sat down. What a great memory the server had.

We went on a Wednesday for wing night. It is a great deal and the wings were surprisingly good. I also had the stir fry and it was huge and very yummy. Good selection of beer, but their fridge was broken so the bartender had to keep icing them for people. The bartender was great. Very attentive and gave us... More

I've been lucky enough to visit the BK six times in the two weeks I'm in Yellowknife. It's consistently perfect. I can't wait to go back.

I went here on two separate occasions during my trip to Yellowknife and absolutely loved it. When you first walk in it looks like a quite little pub but there's a second level that's huge. Wednesday night is wing night and the place was absolutely bumpin'. Really cool experience and worth seeking it out.

The wings are great - many different flavours and the price is right. This place is very popular with locals. They know where to go!
