Nice pub in downtown Yellowknife

The Black Knight is very popular and it can be hard to find a table during peak times. Wing Night is a very popular night in particular. Food is good, portions are large and the beer is cold. What more do you want in a pub! Centrally located, walking distance to the major hotels. Prices are pretty... read more

I went here for lunch with a number of people from the office. Everyone enjoyed their food! This is a happening place for lunch, even in mid week!!! I suggest you show up at 11:30 to get a spot. I liked the medieval theme to the decoration :-) Our waitress was very friendly and efficient! I would return.

On a early Saturday evening we chose this establishment for our dinner. Everyone enjoyed the food and beer with the exception of my meat pie which had way to much salt. The atmosphere and the canned music were very pleasant and the location very handy in downtown YK.

Popular and boisterous downtown pub restaurant with a wide selection of well-prepared foods. We enjoyed the spinach salad and chicken stir-fry. Both exceeded our expectations regarding freshness and quality of preparation and presentation. Decor was suitably dark and pub-ish but welcoming nonetheless. Best come primed before you arrive if you want to do any serious drinking because the alcohol here... More

Black Knight Pub has very reasonable prices and a good selection of pub food! Soccer was on so I will never complain about that! Service was very friendly as well. I also had the best grilled cheese I've had (out of the house)!

Probably one of the most popular pubs in Yellowknife, with good friendly service and quite nice food (good quality, huge portions, decent selection even for vegetarians). It usually gets very busy and crowded, so don’t go in there when looking for a quick meal, you may be disappointed. We usually go there for an evening meal/ hang out, but they... More

If I lived in Yellowknife this would be my local hangout. The place was packed when we arrived but found a table. The Arctic Char was done perfectly and good size portion. Our server was very saucy, I really enjoyed our evening.

If you want reasonably priced fish and chip's, this is the place to go. Fish was meaty unlike those places where the fish is so thick in bread and very little fish. I had arrived on the first day of Long John jamboree where businesses were closing at lunch and so this place was packed.

Have been there twice now and enjoyed it both times. It is a Pub with the great food and feel of a Pub. It is busy and crazy and is slow for service but my food was fresh and piping hot and I had a lovely time people watching and chatting to my neighbours. If you are expecting fine dining... More

Went for brunch on Saturday. Service was slow and the server seemed to forget everything the moment she left the table. Food looked like it had been sitting out somewhere likely forgotten. It's dirty and dark. Would have to be drunk to tolerate any of that again.
