We thought we would stop in here as it was recommended to us. We enjoyed the potato skins that we had ordered as a starter. I ordered the Cottage Pie for my meal. It is like a shepherds pie made from beef instead of lamb. The beef and gravy part was quite tasty, but the potato top seemed to be... More

No matter what time of year it is, no matter what kind of mood I am in, every single time I go to the Black Knight Pub I leave happy and full. Food is straight forward pub fare prepared excellently. Everything is good - everything.

Love the stews and the Black Jane burger! Just avoid peak dinner hours on Wednesdays - Wing night really fills up fast.

The best aspect of this pub is that it is downtown and well fashioned inside. It does not appear to be a microbrewery, but imports its brews what few they have. While it is the best in town, it is not the best in Canada. There is another similar pub on remote west end of town. It is significantly larger... More

Food was good. In fact, it is very difficult to find an open restaurant in this town and this was open. That in itself was a good thing. The food was typical pub fare and decent.

So you're in Yellowknife for some reason. There are a lot of sad dark corners for you to belly up to and drink a bottle of bud. However, if you're one of those sophisticated types who can use words like "lager" and "ale' and "draught" maybe you'd like to drink in a normal bar. A place that has several beers... More

Food was great and didn't take long to get it. Waitresses were friendly with a good assortment of beer and food.

The food was good and the drinks where great. We spent three days in town and basically ate here. The third night, they handed our usual drinks to us as we sat down. What a great memory the server had.

We went on a Wednesday for wing night. It is a great deal and the wings were surprisingly good. I also had the stir fry and it was huge and very yummy. Good selection of beer, but their fridge was broken so the bartender had to keep icing them for people. The bartender was great. Very attentive and gave us... More
