If I lived in Yellowknife

If I lived in Yellowknife this would be my local hangout. The place was packed when we arrived but found a table. The Arctic Char was done perfectly and good size portion. Our server was very saucy, I really enjoyed our evening.

If you want reasonably priced fish and chip's, this is the place to go. Fish was meaty unlike those places where the fish is so thick in bread and very little fish. I had arrived on the first day of Long John jamboree where businesses were closing at lunch and so this place was packed.

Have been there twice now and enjoyed it both times. It is a Pub with the great food and feel of a Pub. It is busy and crazy and is slow for service but my food was fresh and piping hot and I had a lovely time people watching and chatting to my neighbours. If you are expecting fine dining... More

Went for brunch on Saturday. Service was slow and the server seemed to forget everything the moment she left the table. Food looked like it had been sitting out somewhere likely forgotten. It's dirty and dark. Would have to be drunk to tolerate any of that again.

For what ever reason today I observed the bartender send a beverage to a table and then have the waitress return the drink upon which he returned the remaining beverage in the Baileys battle and set it back on the bar. Humm i am very glad i am drinking beer.

We've been here a couple of times when in town. It is always lively, used mostly by locals and service is good.

We went out to dinner with friends. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The quality of the food was really good. We really enjoyed our night out at the Black Knight.

Service was lousy, the room was noisy and the food and drinks were expensive. That said the quality of the food was good. Possibly a good place to network, unwind, but you can do better for a pub.
