Sorry for the others who had a bad experience at this place. It simply must have been new staff members or just an off day somehow. My wife and I have visited 5 to 6 times now and never have been disappointed. The staff is super friendly and switched on to what you would like on the extensive menu after... More

Ok so we ate at the Shanghai on December 30, 2012 for the evening meal. While it was a miserale night out the restaurant was warm and inviting. It was not busy at all, but I think that got more to do with the time of yeat then anything else. As an appatizer we had the steamed dumplings. These are... More

No wonder this place was empty when we arrived on a Saturday night. We made a reservation several hours ahead thinking it might be difficult to seat 20 persons. We arrived to an empty restaurant. Seated at 2 tables it was 15 mins before we were offered a drink or menu, and only after we asked for both. Our drinks... More

We ate at this restaurant during our travels, and the $10.00 sign attracted us. Food in this city is expensive so a small break was what we needed. Ok, let me back that one up - we went in here on recommendation of a friend a few nights before. We had one look at their menu and let me tell... More

We needed a quick lunch and they had a huge sign out front that had pcitures of beautiful plates of chinese-style food. The one I chose was scallops & snow peas. The picture showed several plump scallops with rice & snowpeas. It was $10 and there were a few pieces of THINLY sliced scallop - I am not sure if... More

There are other places outside of downtown that are less expensive. But this is very nice if you're staying in town and the food is very tasty. Order a couple different entrees to share amongst everyone.

They have a good selection of chicken and beef and you can get it with either rice or noodles. This the lunch menu not sure about the supper menu. Kung Pau chicken is my favorite and it's located right on water street. Plus you get to use chop sticks which is kind of cool.
