The restaurant overlooks the working harbour; and it was interesting watching the oil supply ships bustling as we ate. Food was normal for a family restaurant; but the servers were very friendly and professional. I'd definitely go back.

The mussels in particular were to die for. They're very fresh so the aroma and flavour is very strong, but if you like seafood and mussels then don't miss out. The seafood au gratin was also lovely and they had a decent selection of beer. Nice restaurant overall.

Good food, good service, good portions. I ate cod all over the province of Newfoundland and this was the best prepared by far.

We were very hungry coming off Signal Hill and stopped in here for lunch. The entrance was through the hotel lobby, but the restaurant itself has great views looking out over the harbour. The waitress was great, and we had drinks and an appetizer (tasty spinach dip) in no time. The food (chicken burger and an order of salmon) was... More

My husband and I stayed at the Harbour View hotel so we tried the restaurant in the hotel one morning for breakfast and returned a couple of days later. The food was good and came quickly even though they were at capacity one morning. They have a breakfast buffet if you get there early enough but we didn't make it... More

I ordered the fish and chips....biggest mistake I ever made....fries and fish were burnt and cooked in oil that smelled and tasted rotten....it was nauseating. I didn't want to complain as I am typically not a complainer but my wife and daughter tried it and felt like throwing up. We brought it to the attention of the server who got... More

Fun, good food, great view, outsanding staff. Our first visit was for a pancake breakfast. Fluffy, hot, with butter, syrup, and whipped cream. Great way to start a day. Our next visit a couple of days later was dinner. I had the seafood linguini, my guest had the pan seared salmon. We both were totally pleased with our choices. The... More

Dont go for the ribs unless you like them crunchy. I prefer a slow cooked, soft and tender type. Everything was good, drinks, service, value.

My husband and I stopped in here on our way up to our room. The local beer QV light was and delicious! I had a Caesar, which had a great level of spice, and tasty celery salt mix on the rim. The celery and lime were fresh and generous. The location has a beautiful view of the harbour at night,... More

The restaurant staff were very pleasant and the service was excellent. Although the restaurant is a little outdated it was very clean. I would recommend the restaurant....especially the mussels.
