We came into St. John's a week ago and stopped a stranger on the street, asked her where we could get a decent local meal. Her response was enthusiastic, you must stop at the Rocket! We searched it out and instantly knew we were not only in for a good meal but also a charming experience. We are heading back... More

Being a self-confessed foodie, I frequently use tripadvisor to get an idea of popular restaurants to try as I travel the world. I, my family and friends have been visiting the Rocket Bakery before their reputation sky rocketed. We love their homemade food, breads and coffees. Equally important is their wonderful location and ambiance. During my regular visits back home... More

This is a busy cafe that serves sandwiches and baked goods. There are some other hot meals as well. You line up to get everything and the ordering process is somewhat confusing because of the two lines. We got two sandwiches which were good and made with fresh ingredients. The cake and trifle were also good. Nothing outstanding about them,... More

Went here for some designer lattes and they were absolutely among the best I've tasted. Their pastries and CINNAMON BUNS were fabulous. Walked here in the morning to bring back some buns (they sell out quickly).....delicious!

Whenever I'm in St. John's this place is always a must. Last time I was there I went to Rocket everyday 5 days in a row! I also had a lot of time to myself. I just love the atmosphere, the decor, the staff, and of course the food. Get the pulled pork turn over! Delicious! I've had a sandwich... More

It i easy to understand why Tim Horton's isn't on topof the Coffee suppliers in St John's with places like the Rocket are available. A delightful oasis in the city.

The food was overpriced - a couple of average chicken sandwich's and a lemonade were $25. Ordering was very confusing - unclear instructions that you have to take a number for service. Didn't quite know where to stand. Also, the special sandwich that was posted on twitter was not listed on the menu. Décor was nice though - retro vibe... More
