Great Pub for the family!!

The décor is well thought-out for a pub, we were able to enjoy a pint, have some pub grub, listen to some wonderful music by the Harrington Brothers and the best part was that our kids could come with us (till 8:30 pm)

We ended be here for some food and drink on my birthday. It was recommended to us by staff at our hotel. I was a bit unsure, but decided to give it a shot. I didn't regret it. It's a nice pub... not at all dark or drab. The entertainment was very good. Perhaps a bit loud for the small... More

Go! Just go! Don't miss this spot if you get a chance to visit NL. Lively entertainment, pub grub, relaxed friendly atmosphere. They also have similar pubs in Clarenville and the Goulds.

My husband and I had the best pub food ever along with spectacular entertainment!! We try to make it down to Shamrock City at least once per month....Derek Harrington and Ron Kelly are my favourites.

The atmosphere of this place is its selling point. The live entertainment is amazing for setting the mood and all in all my favourite place to drink on the rock! Guiness on tap and lots of whiskey. Food is good, same as what comes from Jungle Jim's kitchen. Lovely place :)

Good Music, Good Food, Great Service & Atmosphere, we returned several times over the visit. Prices were decent. Did I mention music every night until late?! The washrooms smelled awesome too

I admit, I am now somewhat of a regular at Shamrock. I happened on this place about a year or so ago and just keep dropping back in on Fridays after work. The bands are always fantastic and the food is on the upper end of pub food with some nice local seafood options. Over the past year or so... More

My boyfriend and I hopped in here one Sunday night to have a few beers. There are a few local beers on tap and they are decently priced. The atmosphere was fantastic, it really made me long to visit Ireland. There was a band playing folk music and they were amazing, they had a variety of different instruments that they... More

Folks, this is a pub, so depending on the crowd, your service might take a bit longer. If you're expecting fine dining, probably best to look elsewhere. But if you like live music, in a comfortable environment, with friendly people, this is my favorite place in town. It's the kind of place where you don't feel like you're alone, even... More

Never mind about the food, Never mind about the service...they tell you that St Johns is legendary for places to drink. and this place must be part of the legend. For a crammed sing along bar reminiscent of the best of Galway or Killarney Shamrock City has to be part of the legend. Go and add to the legend yourself!
