Planned to go here for the evening of music. Arrived at 6:30pm -seated ourselves close to the bar, where we could see the singer. The service was prompt and friendly, the food hot and fresh. My husband tried the cod cheeks which he found a bit chewy, I tried the seafood platter which had battered cod, a skewer of bacon... More

There were times when the bartenders were dancing with each other and drinking behind the bar , ignoring the customers repeatly asking for a drink . we enjoyed the bands , music was awesome... More

We went to this restaurant after an afternoon boat tour and found the service great. Welcoming atmosphere. Good food. My husband had two orders of cod tongues. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great spot. Met the band Fire In The Kitchen We visited this pub twice while visiting St Johns. Pub is just off George Street and Tues night looked like a Friday Night. A must visit if you are in town.

We should have come here for dinner. We had eaten somewhere else, and came here for a drink and to enjoy the music. Everything was great. The service was prompt, the food that we saw being served looked terrific, and the entertainment was wonderful.

Could be a good place to drink a few pints, but not to eat! Chowder was bland (with a big film on top, like it had been siting there for a while, the BLT tomatoes were green and drowning in mayo, and the crab legs were the driest I had in my life. Didn't even finish them... would not recommend.

We didn't come during a time when a band was playing so can not comment on that, but we had some nice food and good beer, so it was a pleasant experience. The staff was welcoming and friendly too. Judging from the other comments this place likely jumps when the music is playing. Cheers.
