So fun. We received excellent service and had a really great time. Loved the live music and open air windows. Food was A ok but nothing special. Typical pub stuff.

I was home visiting 2 summers ago, and went to this pub specifically to see D'Arcy Broderick sing. I LUVS him. What an entertainer. the food was great, the rum was great. Atmosphere was wonderful. Going home this summer again and can't wait to take my partner there to experience authentic Newfoundland...

Wether part of a group on your own, you will always find friendly atmosphere, locals playing and signing away and a good variety of drinks and correct food. It is a good meeting place and visitors as well as local gather up there and enjoy the lively crowd. I drop by every time I am in town.

Always a fresh live musician playing every night. Beer is always cold and plentiful; however, unless you wish to eat everything deep fried…..come full. Their burger was the only thing not battered and fried….it was good.

I popped in for dinner on a VERY quiet December Monday. There were 4 or 5 servers. Although \I was given a menu quickly I hard to interrupt the waitress's conversation to order my food. A short time later I had to get another waitress to get her attention and I had to call her a 3rd time to get... More

Probably the most crowded pub in St. John's - any night of the week. Always with fun people and great live Newfoundland Irish music. The food is just average, typical bar food, sub-par when compared to other pubs in town. Have dinner somewhere else and then head to Shamrock

Stopped here for lunch while walking Water, ok fish n chips pub with the usual mid day regulars nursing the last night results or gearing up for the next evening. I would be curious as to the night time experience with music, seems like it would be a lively place. Usual pub food that is ok at best, may be... More

We had dinner at Shamrock City; the food was pretty good and service was real friendly. They had live music in the background and it was quite lively

Very busy spot, good drinks, lots of noise, action! Seems to be a local favourite. Live music, fellow singing ballads, entertaining.

We had the opportunity to visit this pub at least 3 times while on vacation here, the food is great, the drinks were average priced and the service was right on the button each time we were there. The music wasn't as upbeat as I expected but maybe I wasnt there on the right days, I'd surely give it another... More
