I asked what was on tap and she listed them off without hesitation then asked if I had any preference she could... More

Spent an evening here with some friends for pints over the Christmas holidays. The live music was awesome and our server Emily was a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend!

My husband, a friend and I had a late lunch and were walking around downtown Saint John's on a Friday afternoon/early evening in July looking for a place to drink some cold beer and listen to live music. To my surprise, there aren't many happy hours in Saint John's. As we began to lose hope, we came upon Shamrock City.... More

Shamrock City has got to be the best bar in St. John's. The bar staff will always go out of their way too make you feel welcome cookie, Stephanie Clarke, Stephanie Slaney, Maria, Becca, Tiffany , Joel they are all the best you can get. Really good variety of beers on tap too.

This is always our 'Go To' place when in St. John's. We are always sure of a warm welcome, refreshing beverages and comfort food. We make a point of dropping by every day of any stay in St. John's.

Not many times do I get to say my wife and I were the only ones in the pub, but on our last day in Newfoundland we came across Shamrock City and could not believe we didn't find it sooner. Best squid rings I've ever had, compliments to the chef. Of course can't talk about this bar without mentioning the... More
