Great restaurant - the local lamb is a winner

We were directed to this restaurant because it served Newfoundland lamb and were not disappointed. Overall it is a cozy well run establishment with good food and good service. I have to digress into the wonderful taste of Newfoundland lamb. A trip to Atlantic Canada sees one eat seafood on... read more

Delicious food with wonderful service and lovely wines! I loved the small room aspect that made the dining experience cosy.

Made reservations for 20 in the AM, ate our meal at 7PM. The service was great, the Appetizers were great, the main meal was so good we asked the waitress if we could have the chef come to our table, which he did, we enjoyed our meals so much we just had to applaud his creations!!! The next day we... More

Hospitality, service and food quality all top notch. A real taste of the land & sea bounty of NL, including the game special of wild island lamb(!) which was explained to us graciously by our server. If I could give 4-1/2 stars I would.

We ate there tonight and had the best meal we have had in Newfoundland and one of the best meals anywhere. The food was fresh, beautifully prepared and the service was first rate. We loved every bite. I had the lamb and my partner had the chicken and both were terrific. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. We are... More

The cod was fresh but I couldn't say about a crispy skin also had far to much finishing salt on the fish. The veg... More

Went for lunch and had an amazing experience. The appetizers were wonderful. Had the moose burger as well and it was unbelievable. Would go back in a heartbeat.

First few visits were for brunch...awesome & yummy..so go check it out! Next visit was a birthday dinner celebration ...fabulous, memorable meal at a cozy table tucked in the back with superb service! Last visit was an equally spectacular meal, wine & service but was somewhat overshadowed by the tables for 5, 3 and 2 almost in our lap...we laughed... More
