We never visit the market without grabbing a cup of coffee at Java Moose and this time was no different. I'm not a fan of super strong coffee and theirs is robust but I always add enough cream to tone it down. The flavor is rich and flavorful. Try it, I'm sure you will like it. They also carry a... Walking along on a chilly October day, we decided to try hot chocolate but other than the whipped cream it was pretty disappointing. I'm not sure if the funny aftertaste was the type of chocolate or not. After a few sips we threw away the remainder. Maybe their coffee is better

Sorry to hear about our not up to par hot chocolate. We will do better next time. We always try for the best but obviously missed the mark on this one this time. We hope you enjoyed your visit to Saint John and hope to be able to make you a different beverage next visit! More

We stopped for a warmup cup of coffee on a cold morning while on a cruise port day. We enjoyed the tasty coffee, friendly service, free wifi, and welcoming atmosphere.

On a visit to Saint John we went here for breakfast. The place was packed! It was a pleasure to have coffee served in a real cup, not a paper one. The staff was congenial and we received our order quickly. An enjoyable experience, worth a return visit.

Arriving in Canada after a long drive up the east coast of the US, we stopped in Saint John for an afternoon leg-stretching walk round and a coffee. Our Lonely Planet told us that Java Moose was the best place in town for our caffeine fix. However our coffee was served out of a 'hotel breakfast room' lever-topped flask under... More

Thank you for your recent review of our Prince William Street Café. We are certainly glad you enjoyed your relaxing moments in the sun on our Adirondack chairs. So very unfortunate your coffee experience was not up to your expectations. I believe we have a cultural disconnect between us and your Euro-expectation. We served you a traditional quick service North... More

Java Moose's roasts taste very unique and are definitely worth a second cup - or a third and a fourth. Loved the "Foghorn" with its smokey flavor.

Can't say a whole lot more but the fact that the coffee we got there was very good. It was a rainy day and it hit the spot. It was recommended by our tour guide.

Love hate with hipster coffee place. usually hate the experience, love the coffee. Not this time. Coffee was great the experience was terrific. The walkabout the market was an added bonus.
