This place is AUTHENTIC!

We walk in, the owner is cranking the salsa music, dancing around. The atmosphere was electric and the food was phenomenal! We've already been back....trust me get the Floutas!

Best place to bring a group of friends for some tasty eats and DELICIOUS Sangrias! Service is always super friendly and there is usually some live music on Friday or Saturday evenings. Food is very good, but not blow your socks off or anything. Best nachos in the city though! Recommend it to anyone who loves a candle-lit dining experience... More

My daughter and I popped in for an early dinner just before 5, thinking we would be in and out quickly. Surprise! There was a party of about a dozen people and I think our timing was unfortunate enough that they had all just ordered their food when we arrived. Still, that's not the restaurant's fault, and if we had... More

I got the Shellfish and Greensauce seafood platter and it was AHMAZING! I've had it recommended to me by a friend who has been going to Taco Pica for years and I finally got around to trying it. We aren't in Saint John that often and I'm glad we tried it. The service was a bit slow but my wife... More

I've been here for others things like live music and dancing, and that was great. Only ate here once and it was way too overpriced and not that great, meaning I could have made better at home.

I love spicy food, but some of my friends not so much, so this is a good place to bring them for something a little different but with menu options that fit their preferences, while accommodating mine for heat. I always go away full, with leftovers for a great snack later or half my lunch the next day. Prices are... More

We went with friends expecting good things as we had heard it was featured on "You Gotta Eat Here". The service was the worst I've ever experienced. The waitress was slow, inattentive and awkward. She disappeared for over 25 minutes, during which that time another table entered and left because they weren't even greeted or seated. I had the guacomole... More

I ate there once and it was a big disappointment. Food is far from authentic. The only truly Latin American thing about this place might be the music and the owner. The food is flavorless and they just stuff everything up with potatoes. Everything is overpriced. The total antithesis of “la cocina latinoamericana” that in reality is rich in colors,... More

I really wanted to like this place a lot. And it's pretty good. Very friendly service, clearly a family run business, which beats the heck out of some chain. The food was pretty good. I had a tequila flavoured pork dish, with some sweetness and hotness that was excellent. The nachos were also really good. The food is partly Mexican,... More

I've been here a number of times over the years. Any time I've gone in, I have always been greeted with friendly and warm service. I have tried Mexican/Latin American food all over the world in a variety of good and bad spots. It is probably my favorite style of food. To be honest, I just found almost everything I've... More
