Awesome Time

Four of us went for my BDay, and everything was on point. The staff was attentive, the selections were great, and the food was everything we hoped for. Would recommend to all to try for a great evening, great atmosphere, and great food :)

In summer, SJAH has a lovely deck arrangement near the ocean with ample seating - in the winter I like the cozy downstairs bar atmosphere. In either case, they make a lovely club sandwich and they have a pretty wide selection of New Brunswick beers on tap (I like the Picaroons Dark and Stormy (Organic). The SJAH is connected to... The fish was the freshest my husband has ever eaten. My chicken dish was amazing. One of the best restaurants we've ever eaten.

Good food, decently priced menu with a nice choice of dishes. My wife and daughter love the Buttermilk Chicken. I usually get the fish and chips. Delicious!

Ate here on Feb. 16th. Our waitress was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her, she made us feel welcome. My husband had the fish and chips which is always great, but I tried something different... the portobello mushroom burger and it was the best meal I've had in ages. I would definitely get it again! I also tried... More

This restaurant is unpretentious in atmosphere so you can enjoy a laid back, relaxing meal but that meal will be far above & beyond what you would expect. Making good, local food available & little bit more interesting seems to be the goal & was achieved when I was there.

Just ate there tonight and found that the food was OK but the prices were a lot higher than I expected. Had been there a few years ago. Wait staff were very professional and efficient and did not have to wait long for ordering nor overall service. Likely would not be in a rush to return as SJ has better... More
