There are lot of great restaurants in Saint John and sadly now Church Street isn't one of them. Without going into great detail we ate there last night.. Party of 5 and they did not have our reservation? That was a sign that we should have left .. But we didn't and regretted it the entire time. The service was... More

The food was great but the service was an embarrassment. My group felt as if we were being a bother to the waitress and for most of the night we were practically ignored in the back corner. We had a table of 6 and our bill was in the $300+ range. You'd think we could have gotten a few pieces... More

Been here about 10 times and find each time the prices get bigger and the portions get smaller . Nothing ever remarkable about any meals here so far . They seem to call everything an extra cost now ( char on steak 3.09 , Mushrooms 5.09 ) so it adds up fast . Service good but for a 400 dollar... More

We were concerned it was going to be very busy (this was during chopchop week) so we wanted to make reservations rather than walking in. We were told the pub downstairs didn't take reservations, but the restaurant did, so we decided to give it a try! The menu was a little pricey for our taste, so we were going to... More

Service is great up top. We dined here for a birthday supper and the waitress accidentally spilled wine on the birthday boy. They cleaned it up immediately, offered to clean his shirt (which we declined but the thought was nice), had the manager come apologize to us and gave us all (6 of us) big pieces of the dessert of... Food was not what i expect from a steak house, maybe a Ponderosa! Go somewhere else and save your money!

Went there for roasted prime rib and it is a farce to call it well-aged, with the meat and to have been picked out carefully by their chef. Tough, tough and lacking in flavour. Obviously carved in advance and re-heated. The price of $32 was an absolute insult. Also the sides are mediocre and over-priced. Do not recommend!!!!

I was a bit disappointed with the service here... maybe the staff had had a long day but they struggled to raise any sort of a smile! Had a 'baseball' steak with potatoes wedges and veg. The steak was average, wedges were good and tonnes of them but the veg was a bit tired. Nicely done out place though and... More

The seafood chowder came in a square bowl with muscles around the edges. It was excellent. The blackened steak was very good and done rare as requested. If you want vegetables with the steak you need to order them as well. The Atlantic Trio consisted of scallops, salmon and haddock crusted with almonds. It was accompanied by vegetables and a... More

Expensive compared to New England steakhouses, but fine, nonetheless. NOT fast food eating, as we'd wanted. We went there to dine & did for 2 hours. Our teens knew it too and enjoyed...with electronics on hand for the lulls (for them:). The staff was very gracious and made no attempt to push us through on a busy Friday night. Very... More
