Description: The Pump House Restaurant & Brewery was opened as a brewpub in downtown Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada in 1999 by Shaun Fraser and his wife Lilia. We debuted in style with the first new beer of the new Millenium. Today, 15 years later, The Pump House is going stronger than ever. With many different styles of craft beer and seasonal beers on tap and our sought-after forno pizzas, buffalo burgers, pastas and varying appetizers and salads etc. On our menu, we have created a home away from home for locals and visitors alike. We have a mug club for those that are really into craft beers and an app for our tech-savy patrons to keep in touch about specials, events, discounts and so on. We love Moncton and take pride in being here and being part of the community. The Pump House Restaurant looks forward to serving you!

Restaurant/Ambiance: Very nice pub style, gets crowded early. Staff: Our waiter was a bit rude at the end. We found it a bit surprising since we were a large party (about a dozen) that were all eating. All other staff were great! Food: Had the pulled pork sandwich, it was great. They have the best fries in Moncton. Their wood-oven... More

My Husband and I made a point of visiting as many micro breweries during our Maritime Trip this past summer June/July 2011. Hands downs, our favorite was Pumphouse Brewery. Their Blueberry Ale and the Cadian Cream Ale were our favorites. The food was good too and over all the best prices for a meal and a pint of all the... More

I'm from the Ottawa region and I had to work in Moncton. That resto is excellent, the beer is very good and the service was perfect. I will go again for sure :)

Dined here twice in one week while on a business trip. Absolutely delish. Had the BBQ chicken pizza and very cold beer. Will be going there again the next time I am in town.

This is the best place in town for burgers and pub food. I went there twice and was blown away both times. They brew their own beer right on the premises and they have a variety that cannont be matched anywhere else. Try their blueberry beer, it is to die for!! The burgers are cooked to perfection, big and juicy,... More

The service was awesome, atmosphere was one of a kind, very unique. The food was a healthy portion and quite tasty. It was a little loud, but to be expected in pub like setting. Parking was tight and had to pay but was cheap enough. Great place to visit if going through the area.

Whilst having dinner and enjoying the beer, we were impressed with the atmosphere of the place. I took 3 pictures, the bar the wall plaques and the door sign. No sooner than I took them the manager came rushing over in what felt like a scene from "Goodfellows" or "The GodFather". We were told "No more pictures" because the patrons... More

Pumphouse consistently provides top notch food, service and superior microbrew at reasonable prices. Their brick oven-baked pizza is fantastic with a wide and varied choice of toppings. Some of the best hot wings in Moncton, although their spiciness varies greatly from visit to visit. Their Buffolo burger is fantastic, as is their pulled-pork sandwich. If you like a hoppy beer,... The micro brewery serves very good beer. The Ale is excellent, the blueberry beer more a matter of personal taste. The pizza is excellent. However, the rest of the pub fare is boring, bland, and predictable. Like other posters mentioned, the Fish n'Chips are over-battered. Service was always OK, if not a little slow. Overall, an OK place to go... More

As visitors to New Brunswick we discovered to our great satisfaction Pump House red ale. Having dinner at the restaurant/brewery was most enjoyable. There pizza is very good; thin crust with quality ingredients. Service was courteous and quick. If you like pub food and draft beer this place is a must.
