This place is great, for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. You have so many choices, it's great. My personal favorite is the Big Marc Burger. You can't go wrong with it! I would personally recommend that you call to reserve a seat before coming over, as it does have limited seating and does fill up very quickly (and with reason!).

We found this place using Trip Advisor and were so glad we did! I am vegan and was travelling through Moncton with my boyfriend and parents who are not vegan. This was listed as #1 in the city and it seemed like a great fit. The food was absolutely fantastic and everyone loved their meals. I had the burrito which... More

We stopped at Calactus Cafe for dinner after seeing all the positive reviews on Tripadvisor. The food was truly excellent. We had pakoras to start, which were flavourful with a nice bit of spice. For main courses we had the Oaxaca bake and the Quetzal flute and both were delicious. The meals were very filling and the value was very... More

Family road trip and we thought we would put a spin on it by proving or disproving places rated no. 1. Calactus belongs on top for sure. If you love one of a kind restaurants with warm, genuine service, healthy food at reasonable a reasonable price, this place is for you. Soups and specials of the day were done well.... More

Ate here on our way through Moncton and had a nice meal. Good portion and tasty food but my husband left hungry despite having ordered two dishes. Maybe for lunch? We were at a table crowded next to another and our neighbours were really loud- which they failed to manage despite others having brought this to their attention.

By chance we found this restaurant and enjoyed the best food during our vacations in canada! It was so delicious. We tried the "Broccoli Sunflower" salad, the "1000 and one night" appetizer and the banana maple cake, which was really awesome! The staff was friendly too! If you're looking for a good restaurant in Moncton, you have just found it.

We've been going here for years and are never disappointed. The food is consistently delicious and the kitchen is always very prompt with service. The staff here is excellent, as well; they're friendly, efficient and there to make sure you never need to wait to ask for anything. The price is average and it's unlike anything else we have in... Nice to have found a good vegetarian restaurant in Moncton, NB. Food was great. Service was good. Price was good. Entree is ~$15 per dish, probably the same amount if not less than what you'd be paying at any other restaurant in town. With the quality of food that you're getting, it was well worth the money. Such a pleasant... More

My vegeterian daughter and I brought my carnivore friend and her daughter who is a picky eater to Calactus café. We half expected to be served some tasteless, boring food but I'm happy to say that it is not. We all loved it! It was flavorful, colorful and spiced just right. The food was a bit heavy on the salt,... More

Only one person in my group of eight was vegetarian, but we all loved our food here. I couldn't even tell that my enchilada had no meat. The dishes were all well presented, and the menu had a very wide option of vegetarian dishes. We had just arrived in Moncton that day. Three in our group had eaten at Calactus... More
