Oh My the seafood chowder was amazing. It had chunks over fish, muscles and shrimp. I could eat a vat of it. That alone is worth going back for. I liked the fish and chips. They were not overly battered or too greasy. This restaurant was a pleasant surprise.

3 different waitresses waiting on our table each one asking what we wanted to drink and what we wanted to order, each waitress i thought was assigned certain tables but we had all three, when food came it was wrong because 3 waitresses couldn't write anything down. Restaurant would serve better tore down and apartment complex built there. Looked into... More

We asked the people at Magnetic hill where they go to eat and they told us how to get to Skipper Jacks. They had a special seafood platter so we got that and the chowder. We were very pleased we were told to go here. I would recommend this place to everyone.

My family and I love this place it has very friendly staff and it is a very popular restaurant. It is family orientated with excellent food and a decent drink list too. however supply's seem to be limited as there has been a few times that they didn't have what i ordered but the waitress seemed to know what they... Stopped here on recommendation from the B&B we were staying at. The chowder was delicious. My husband didn't like the fish cakes. He said they had a weird taste. Plus the chowder was so big. I had the pecan crusted fish. Was really good. Too much batter as the pecan overwhelmed the fish. So just took half off and was... More

We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant. Boy, they know seafood. Don't expect a fancy place, just clean and efficient service and terrific fish. The best Lobster rolls ever, and the Fisherman's platter is excellent

We started our visit of East Coast in Moncton. We went to Skippy's on our first day since hotel recommended it. We shared a two piece of fish and chips and a lobster poutine. Both dishes were fabulous. I was pleasantly surprised considering atmosphere was mediocre. We had to go back two days later. We had the skipper size fried... More

After a week long trip on the East Coast and still no sign of lobster poutine, I searched the web for a restaurant with good reviews. Sure enough I found one, Skipper Jacks, on FB. We were headed to Magnetic Hill and I discovered that Skipper Jacks was only 6 km away so off we went. The restaurant was busy,... More

Food was very good; I had crab cakes; others had chowder, fish & chips, seafood platters. All very good. However, we waited over an hour for our orders to come, despite the restaurant not being terribly full. Waitress was very pleasant, friendly, and apologetic. But despite following up, and asking for at least for some rolls for the table for... More
