This was a busy night and we ended up being seated downstairs. We were 2 couples and we were seated among groups at tables which made it very noisy. We could hardly hear ourselves talk. The service was slow in coming. The waitress said it was busy and she had trouble keeping up. Someone should have come to help her... More

We arrived this Tuesday and sat at the bar, though there seems to be quite a bit of seating as well. The beer selection was exceptional, which seems unusual for much of the Maritime Provinces. Service was excellent but the food was even better! We tried the seafood chowder and the Tide Board (fish board). The chowder and the smoked... More

There seems to many varying reviews on TA but I’ve been to this place a number of times and the latest was last night. I found the environment to be fun and the wait staff friendly and attentive. The menu has a great selection and I personally had the wild boar sausage and it was very good. There were four... More

I came here last weekend and the food was terrible. Nothing tasted good and the waitstaff was entitled and rude. They do not have any salt and pepper on the table, clearly because they think that food does not require seasoning when it come out of the kitchen or at the table. Nothing was cooked properly....I complained politely and ate... More

After reading reviews on Tripadvisor, we were really looking forward to dinner here. Unfortunately, we were served luke warm, tasteless, expensive, undercooked food. The haddock smelled and tasted old. Our bill was $65 without drinks and we left hungry.

Boar!? Definitely wasn't prepared for so many dishes containing wild boar. Hadn't had any boar since Germany and it was delicious. A sampler board containing pate, bacon, loin, etc. And then there was the hamburger made from chopped beef brisket! Great show Tide and Boar!

I've always loved this restaurant and have raved about it to many ppl. Usually great food and service. We've gone to concerts there and always enjoyed it. Seems as though since this restaurant is now established and known, service is gone out the door. This evening I had the worst service ever there. I went around 4pm to have an... More

Pleasant surroundings, amazing patio. NO service, hot food served cold. So disappointed . How do they stay in business? Won't be back!

Honestly one of the best gastro-pubs we have ever been to. It is no surprise they were nominated as one of Canada's best bars. We dined here on an overnight stay in Moncton. The local craft beer selection was excellent and we were both happy with our selections. All of our food was excellent. We shared the following: The house... More

Very different menu, lots of good choices. Boar meat poutine is fantastic, more than enough to fill even the hungriest of people. Neither one of us could finish our plates. The polenta fries are the best I've had so far. Well worth the prices, will definitely go back.
