We were here a week ago and we waited 2 hours for our food. We wanted to give them another try because they have such great food, but we've been waiting 1.5+ hours so far. Food is excellent, but not worth the wait on a Sunday evening. They don't appear to be very busy.

We decided to go to Tide and Boar after reading about it on TripAdvisor. This is far from your average pub food. The menu options were so unique and creative that we could not help but be impressed. I had the parmesan crusted haddock, my husband had the boar donaire and my seven year old meatatarian son ordered the boar... More

Maybe Need someone at the door for welcome people. Food was different, i had the choice of pork charcuterie and the wild boar poutine, yes of course rich but not bad at all, and i wasn' t sick later and that's good! But the best experience was with the barman: he did faboulous cocktails, is a French speaking guy with... More

My husband and I were traveling from Nova Scotia to Moncton for a appointment with our car and decided to have the car dealer drop us off at the Tide& Boar because we saw it on the food network. I had ordered the boar poutine which was very disappointing, my husband ordered mussels which were sour, polenta fingers which I... More

It wasn't too crowded when our group of 8 arrived. We were able to order and get our drinks pretty quickly but the food didn't show up for almost an hour for a Monday evening at 5 pm. We shared an assortment of food which was all pretty good - boar poutine, burger, Caesar salad, Parmesan haddock, raw oysters, and... More

The staff is always nice and the food is unique..that's what I like about that restaurant. The chef is taking the time to prepare the meals and you can taste it every time. It is not really expensive, but the plates are not that big. What I also like about that restaurant...they always have different beers on tap and the... More

My girlfriend and I ate hear after seeing the restaurant on the Food network. We arrived at dinner time and were greeted promptly at the door. The hostess said there'd be a wait, so we sat at the bar until a table was available. We were told a table was ready by one of the waitresses, but she never took... More

Saw the episode of "You Gotta Eat Here" over a year ago and always had in my mind to try the Boar Poutine at Tide and Boar because it looked so good. We were in town to take in the car show and neither disappointed. Service was excellent. I wish I could remember our waiters name because he was great... More

We visited on a Sunday afternoon. No doubt, much quieter than it would be in the evening. The food is just great. Try the polenta fries. They're great. And the fish -- either battered and deep fried or the absolutely amazing Parmesan-crusted fish are not to be beat. A great restaurant in Moncton.
