We travelled from PEI for a meeting but went a day early to take our daughter and her boyfriend out for dinner. I picked the Red Satay based on the great reviews and because my daughter had not been there. Wow! What a great choice and what a treat. We made a reservation for 6:30PM. When we walked in a... More

I placed an order by phone today at 11:30, for my office. We had placed the order and were told it would be available at 12:15. When we arrived at the restaurant ready to pay, the girl said "ya, we havent even started cooking this. Were busy". The least they could have done was apologize, call in advance to let... More

Amazing food and service. I love the Jenny Special, filled with shrimps, pork, beef, chicken, fresh vegetables, vermicelli noodle and peanuts, with the fish sauce on the side and a spring roll! Mmmm, just writing the review, I wanna go back! You won't be disappointed, go try it!!

It's not easy to find some good and original food in Moncton and this place fills the gap. The menu offers a large array of vietnamese inspired dishes ( both traditional while some have some North American influence ) I had the Red Satay Beef Noodle soup which was excellent. It's not expensive as well so it's great for a... More

We come here at least twice a week for the Jenny. The food is always perfect and we always leave happy. The sauces are all homemade and very tasty. Remember to ask for the red satay (spicy) sauce. The staff is really friendly and courteous. Even the owners are often seen working and helping out. We totally recommend this place... More

Don't forget Amazing Customers!!! Thanks very much for the generous words. We are truly fortunate to have the very best customers a restaurant operator could ask for, sincerely... Yes, most things are made from scratch (in house) and thank you for noticing. I guess we'll have to keep the Jennys flowing... See you next time. More

Visited on way through town. Place was packed at 7:30 Saturday night. Wife and I both had #42, meat and spring roll on rice vermicelli, it was okay. But I must note that compared to other Vietnamese I've had on the east cost it could be called good. The highlight was the banana spring roll with coconut ice cream. Unfortunately... More

Thanks for stopping in on your way through. Sorry about the banana shortfall. We don't like running out of things. It's the one thing we need to be fully ripened and there appears to have been an abundance of green bananas lately. Hopefully we'll see you next time you pass through. More

It's hard to find decent Asian food in Moncton. Red Satay satisfies, though it pales in comparison to Vietnamese food I've had elsewhere, both in terms of flavour and bang for buck. The stir fry's are pretty bland and the soups lack the subtle herbs that one can taste in most pho's, but I think this is a by-product of... More

I apologize for the missing herbs (Thai Basil, Sawtooth herb) for the Pho. In 3 years we have been unable to find a local, reliable source for that product at a quality we would want to put on the table. We deliberately don't want to get into the we have it this time and then not the next time. So,... More

Me and my boyfriend came here for our first time in May of 2013. Our waitress Martine was wonderful, telling us what were their best dishes as we were a little lost with the menu (new to Vietnamese). We ordered rice wraps, the Pho soup and Jenny's Special. Everything was delicious! My boyfriend has also a severe food allergy which... More
