First rate meal

Today is our 35th anniversary. My husband had eaten lunch at the restaurant a couple of times. I had never been. It was a wonderful meal. The seafood was first rate. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Wolastoq Warf is an unassuming looking place on "the other side of the river" with fantastic food. My wife and I went for lunch and were served more food than we really needed and it was well prepared, well presented and served professionally. The wait staff were pleasant, efficient and very professional. We thought the prices were very reasonable and... More

Very popular restaurant with good reputation. We had super fish chowder actually full of fish as a starter. For mains, although a seafood restaurant, having had a lot of seafood, we decided on the steak in a sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus and caramelised onion. Food beautiful presented, with amazing tastes and delicious tender steak but only problem was it... More

I understand that modern indoor climate control are set to a certain temperature and come on as needed. However, we nearly froze to death when we ate at Wolastoq Wharf a few days ago. It was only about 18 degrees outside but the air conditioning system was still kicking in repeatedly. We asked the waitress to adjust the temperature a... More

We continue to dine here every time we're in town. Must make a reservation. Interior is calm, elegant and clean. Service is quick, enthusiastic but professional. Bannock bread a real treat. Dishes are always generous in size, hot, fresh, tasty, and pretty. Other patrons always seem to have a great time, too: families or business people, always a nice mix.

I can say that after a few really disappointing dining experiences in Fredricton, this place was a welcome change. On the plus side - the food was nice (I got the lobster roll, my companion got the fish n' chips), the service was friendly, the portions were large (we had to take half our food to go because we were... The best dinner I've ever had in Fredericton. The food is delicious and really adequate, calamari and seafood fettuccine are quite awesome. Very romantic atmosphere and enthusiastic service. Everything is perfect. However, it's not cheap for sure. But you should have a try in some special days you know.

A co-worker had eaten there recently and told me about it. Last night, we decided to try it out. The portions are crazy huge! Bannock bread was nice & warm.... it's been a long time since I've had bannock and that it was *that* delicious. Just remember to make a reservation before heading over.

This is by far the best restaurant in Fredericton. Our server was very cheerful and attentive and described the special for the evening. My husband, daughter and I all chose a different entree and all were exceptional. My husband's seafood fettuccine was so full of lobster, scallops, shrimp and mussels, my lobster carbonara was fabulous and the cashew pasta that... More
