A wrong turn turned into a right decision

Upon arriving on ferry from Digby we had planned to have lunch in St. John. However, ignoring the GPS to go in a particular direction, we soon found ourselves on our way to Fredericton. A couple of wrong exits and turns later, we found ourselves on Union Street heading into Northern Fredericton. As... read more

We ordered the wharf platter and the shrimp and scallops were so overlooked that they were rubbery and stringy. There was no seasoning given to the skewers on top of that. The fish tacos were not only served in an hard corn shell, but they lacked any acidity and texture. The slaw to add to it was like a very... More

What an amazing experience! The food was spectacular and the portion sizes were really large, so large that I had leftovers for lunch the next day. I was impressed and look forward to returning again soon to try another dish. This restaurant offers gluten-free and they are very aware of cross contamination. I would highly recommend those with Celiac Disease... More

Went to Wolastoq for first time and was very pleased to add to my list of great restaurants! Very attentive staff. Food was excellent. I enjoyed the great , plentiful lobster roll. The decor, and cleanliness really stood out! I look forward to returning and trying the dinner menu.

Every meal begins with complimentary warm bannock c/w warm mollasses. Appetizer of roasted potatoe, leek and bacon soup (unable to get recipe) was the best I had ever had. The entrees were very reasonably priced, the portions on the large side and absolutely delicious. Though we arrived without a reservation, the staff went the extra mile and secured us a... More

Lovely atmosphere, tastefully decorated, exceptional artwork. Bannock with molasses as a table bread. Best ever! Seafood fetticini abounding with lobster, shrimp and scallops. Large portion provided leftovers for lunch today. Creme Brûlée to die for. Seeing desserts and meals going to other tables - attractive presentation. 3 people with me and all totally impressed. Reservation suggested.

The best place to eat in Fredericton. They offer a unique menu of seafood dishes that is sure to satisfy your palate. Prices are competitive compared to other local restaurants that serve similar menus. You will love the atmosphere and the friendly staff.
