Continental Feel on the Prairies

Very nice restaurant with reasonable prices. A very continental atmosphere. We particularly like the courtyard in summer

I have done my share of travelling and have eaten in some fine restaurants. BI is up there with the best. Great food. Winnipeg has some of the finest restaurants in North America.

Tried to go for lunch on the patio last summer. Were seated then sat for 20 minutes before someone acknowledged us and said she'd be with us shortly. In total we sat there 45 minutes- then left. No excuse.

Wonderful food, great atmosphere. Always a delight to see what's on the menu for specials. Desserts are always amazing

If you've never had duck or bison, you can here without spending a fortune! Lots of specials every time I go, and 'non fancy' items if you aren't in the mood for adventure or you are going in a group. Cozy atmosphere. I love the food art they have on their walls. Great place to meet a friend or go... More

From the beginning when I first contacted manager Juan about hosting a dinner party for eleven while in Wpg, In Ferno's proved to be a top notch experience. The friendly atmosphere and excellent service from our waiter Kristian made for a great evening. Everyone (out of towners, locals, young and old) raved about the food ... bison tenders, veal, filet... More

I had the "tenderloin" beef salad. The "tenderloin" was so tough and stringy you could use it as a winter tow rope. This is the second time now that my beef was horrible. They need to get a new supplier. Desert is good though.

I frequent Inferno's Bistro in St. Boniface on a fairly regular basis. I have never once received adequate service or food. Service is consistently attentive and excellent, the menu is nouvelle Francaise and delicious, always right. The desserts will make you swoon, and the wine list is impressive. Ask for a table upstairs. There is a patio, which is on... More

Spent an evening at Inferno's with my aunt from Victoria, who wanted to try it based on a magazine article she read on her flight to Winnipeg. We were very disappointed. The food was just acceptable and very expensive. We could have gone to any of the best restaurants in Winnipeg for the price. We started with crab cakes which... More

Tucked away in old St. Boniface is this charming little restaurant that serves likely some of the best food in Winnipeg. Excellent service is only surpassed by the fabulous desserts that tempt you at the meals end. My advice, eat lightly so you can enjoy pure heaven at the end. We have tried many dishes here and found them all... More
