Great view and delicious food

This is a must for visitors to Winnipeg. Our bilingual culture is celebrated here and a great way to see the mighty Red River, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and the Forks, and to be on that beautiful piece of Architectural wonder Le Pont! We read the reviews and decided to give it a try. Just a small blue building on a quiet corner. Small cosey with lots of windows and tables for 4. Maximum 34 seats. Do a great take out (TO) for pizza and other dishes. We were quickly seated. No one else there but just opened. Many came and went with... More

This place is a must! For lunch or dinner, the quality of food is great, the place is very nice and clean. Service is excellent. I love French cuisine and they know how to make it because the owners are French. But not to worry, you can be served in English or French. So for the résidents or visitors who... More

We go here all the time just for a nice meal in a funky setting and the yummiest pizza in Winnipeg. The raclette or something like that is the one we get and the trapist cheese that goes on it is amazing. The place is small (like 15 people is full) and you will usually need a reservation. The bathrooms... More

The ambience of this restaurant, is absolutely beautiful, being on the bridge on the river. Very relaxing & romantic. Nice wine selection. I ordered a Caesar, but they ran out of Vodka. "WHAT" a restaurant of this calibre, out of Vodka. I had my Caesar with Rum. Soup was delicious & so was the salad. That was about it...My $24.00... More

We ate supper at Chez Sophie's on a Saturday night. It was quite busy and I am glad we had made a reservation. The food was very tasty. My husband and I both started with the soup. It was served hot and with a side of baguette. The soup was cream of cauliflower and was very good. I actually could... More

I never knew about Chez Sophie until my sister introduced it to me. How did I not know about this place?? The service was excellent and welcoming. The restaurant itself is nestled in a beautiful residential area and though snug it's definitely inviting The food was excellent and their portions are very generous. I will definitely be going back.

I've picked up from Chez Sophie before and so was aware of it's size and limitations. I have to say that people that go to a tiny (probably two dozen chairs across 6-7 tables) converted house and complain about the variety of items and all the other bulls&^t should go to a chain. This is the kind of restaurants that... More

I just came back from lunch at the Bistro. I had the spinach salad with brie cheese which was Fantastic, the serving was so big I couldn't finish it, then again I am not a big eater. My friend had the leek and potatoes soup, she loved it. And my brother had the Cesar salad with chicken breast and he... More
