Maple Walnut Sundea

Unlike many places, the Bridge still makes maple walnut sundeas. The ice cream was quite tasty. The place was quite busy, but the service was reasonable quick

I've been going to the BDI (Bridge Drive Inn) my whole life. The Goog is tremendous but even the simplest ice cream cone is heaven. They do milk shakes like no other I've ever had, and I've travelled around Canada and the U.S. and I would stack the B.D.I. up against any of them, this is a must visit when... More

This is a MUST DO in Winnipeg. I promise you won't be dissappointed. The trick is to get there when there is not 50 people in line ahead of you make sure you go for a walk across the bridge

I've been going to the BDI since I was a kid. Its still the same old ice cream stand that serves outstanding ice cream treats. Located on Jubilee it sits beside the Red River and a really old walk bridge. We often walk the bridge lapping up of treats as we stroll. The array of flavors and treats they have... More

We heard raves for this place so we went all the way down just for ice cream I can tell you it worth the drive. Sleeping Beauty was awesome. Yes it's the name of the ice cream made from half cut fresh pineapple with cubes of pineapple in it and vanilla ice cream...... if you like ice cream this is... More

Been going here for years, it's an institution for South Enders. The soft chocolate ice cream is among the best I've had anywhere. I ventured out and tried the Salzburg which is a vanilla cone dipped in chocolate and topped with salted caramel. Yum!!! I'd order the cone with chocolate ice cream next time and then I think it would... More

Came here with my wife, son and his guardian after dinner in mid-September and enjoyed the atmosphere of this rather quaint establishment. Had a really thick milkshake and enjoyed a stroll over the bridge to the other side. A great way to end the day, if you ask me.
