Thanks to my Tripadvisor pals for recommending this place, we were over on vacation from the UK. This place does not look much from the outside and trust me if it looks busy from the street, go in and ask because there is way more space out back. Great food. lots of stuff for vegetarians like me. The food was... More

I'm not usually into deep fried - but their stuffed chicken wings sounded intriguing - and were really good. Also had a mango salad. I like that they asked (about the salad): "what level of heat - 1 to 10?" I picked 5. It had a kick. They don't usually. I liked it.

I am glad I suggested Thai food for a business lunch while attending meetings in a nearby office building. I thoroughly enjoyed the daily lunch special, which was a sweet and spicy stir-fry. I have a pretty good spicy heat tolerance, but based on warnings from other reviews, I decided to play it safe at spicy level 6, but I... More

I thankfully work within walking distance to this gem. This is a great place for lunch. I could eat here every week. Back of the menu they have a number of lunch specials. A stir fry, rice and 2 spring rolls with your choice of veggie, chicken, pork etc. Ranging from $9-12. Food comes out fast, warm and consistently delicious.... More

We eat Thai food quite regularly and were very disappointed with this restaurant. Starter was okay but for main we were asked how hot we wanted it 1-10 (5 was supposedly medium). Thai is usually not that hot we went for 6. The food food was so spicy hot we could hardly eat it. The food itself was bland. Service... More

Thida's is a great little spot for a taste of Thailand. Decor is mid-20th century prairie-town coffee shop, so don't expect much in that respect. The food and the warm welcome make up for it. I've been for lunch and dinner. Both times the food was excellent. During weekday lunch it was very busy, but less so for dinner. Service... More

Had an excellent meal. Food was well prepared, with fresh ingredients. Menu had lots of options with most of not all Thai regions represented. Service was good but not great. I appreciated the beer menu with 2 different Thai imports on it. Price where reasonable. Restaurant is a little dated, but I felt it added to the ambiance.

I eat lunch here with friends and co-workers around 5-6 times a year. Staff is helpful, friendly and fast, the food is always served hot and tastes fantastic. I do see that most of the reviews are similar to mine with the exception of an American and someone from BC. Consistent with most negative reviews you see on Trip Advisor.... More

Visting with family in Winnipeg during the coldest New Year period in over 100 years (down to minus 48 with windchill) and wanting to find restaurants in the immediate area of the hotel as we were walking, we were amazed at the density of excellent restaurants close by. Thida's Thai was one that stood out hugely in previous reviews and... More

We stumbled upon this restaruant and then ate there twice in a week. The meals were very tasty and the service friendly and helpful. This was a cheap eat and a good eat. Highly recommend.
