Great Location

I always enjoy dining at Cafe Promenade and wine. The menu selections are excellent. There is parking in front of the restaurant.

Very disappointed with this restaurant since it has a great location. The waiter was very pleasant but incompetent as he brought the wrong wine twice and finally explained that the Resto had run out of white house wine. This, on a Saturday night? My partners meal: mussels, was so salty that she could not eat it. We overheard the next... More

Hello Trippies I have been to the Promenade Cafe a couple of times and it's been great on both occasions. Today I had their Clubhouse Sandwich with a salad. Wow what a treat. It was without A shadow of a doubt the best clubhouse sandwich I have had in Winnipeg. The salad was also fantastic with a homemade dressing that... More

Nice ambience and good service, but the taste and presentation of the breakfast we had was not up to my expectation. Breakfast and coffee for two was $31 CDN. We had Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and French Toast with Berry Compote. The Eggs Bene came with cooked smoked salmon, not lox. It didn't taste all that fresh. The eggs... More

Promenade is everything I expect from a French cafe - from the delicious coffee, to the delicious entrees. I enjoyed the coq au vin, and a bowl of carrot soup. Both were excellent. We dined outside, until a quick downpour pushed us indoors to finish our meal. Service was good.

Our family ate here on Canada Day and we had the perfect view of The Forks and the fireworks. The food and service were very good to excellent. I, along with my son, had the NY steak and both were tender and delicious. Our group also had the following entrees: the tortiere and the pork (just a touch dry), with... More

This restaurant has lovely food and terrific service. Always packed! Last time we planned to meet people it was only by chance we found a table. Call for reservations to be sure.

I took a group of 14 people to the Promenade Bistro for a business event - the food was superb, the service was excellent and guests enjoyed the beautiful view of Esplanade Riel. Guests raved about the meals and the desserts are absolutely fabulous!

We enjoyed the view over the river and the food was excellent. Our server was timely and very courteous. It is a great little French cafe.
