This is our "spot" in the peg. they have good food, great drinks.. but mostly they have an amazing appreciation for local talent. The dust rhinos frequent this place and if you are in the need of some Celtic rock. Look no further.

I had not been to the King's Head for over 10 years, and was I ever glad I went back. The beer selection was better than I remember, and the food was really good.

I liked this place in the heart of Winnipeg's historic Exchange District. They had my favorite draft beer from BC, Okanagan 1516 and the local Half Pints Saint James Pale Ale was superb. Ordered up some curry and thoroughly enjoyed the couple hours I spent there!

We found this little English pub while walking the Exchange District. Definitely a good place to hang out late in the evening with a warm (and busy) atmosphere. The food was good. We ordered the fish and chips and it was the best I'd had in awhile. Huge portion.

Popped into the Kings Head Pub for a bite to eat one evening while my friends and I were in the neighbourhood. I ordered the Butter Chicken Poutine, It was so delicious and plentiful! I find the foods are priced fair. It was a busy night but the staff was up for the challenge; bringing drinks, and then our food... More

I love this pub, there are a serious lack of pubs in Winnipeg. The food is great, I love their curries and nachos and the chicken strips are great even cold. At times, the wait to get a drink at the bar is frenetic and confused and takes a really long time - and not just of busy nights, even... More

We were in Winnipeg as tourist for a few days and found this pub located in a not so pleasant surrounding neighborhood. It seems to attract a loyal local clientele. Fish & Chips was large and deep fried and the sandwiches are good. A good place to people watch if you get a table by the outside window cuz there... More

Simple at its best - no cheap car salesman routine here! Food is outstanding in price and quality. Great Indian food. "Bangers and mash" are my fav!

The Kings head is a great venue to listen to a band, sit and have a drink with friends or visit for a pub meal within three different areas of the restaurant. .The staff is always friendly as is the manager who makes sure to say hi and make himself present. The food is great and the chicken masala has... More
