Tonight I really wished that I was a Food critic, I would give this restaurant 5 stars. Allen our waiter was excellent, all the food we ordered was made with the freshest of ingredients. It was a very happy find for us, we were able to walk to the restaurant from our hotel. We would definitely go back if we... More

Great food and warm friendly service. Endless supply of fresh bread, yummy appetizers and generous main courses. If you are looking for a reasonably priced lovely dinning experience you won't be disappointed. Our waiter told us they have been in business nearly 30 years and it's easy to see why.

They have a great menu that allows you some latitude in putting together a meal. I had carpaccio to start, caesar salad and the fish soup. I didn't need desert but I wanted to try the panna cotta. Everything was as it should be. Maybe the caesar salad could have had an anchovy and maybe the panna cotta was a... More

I've been twice while visiting on business. Both times were very good. It is the little brother to the more upscale Amici. The room is fairly casual, but comfortable and consistent with the menu and price point. The menu seems to share a few items with Amici, but is mostly the Italian staples - a selection of pasta, a few... More

Had a great last night dinner in Winnipeg. Had the daily special, which was great. Partner had the lamb cutlets. They were good but ironically when asked where they came from. Australia was the answer. We are from Australia. Still they were good.

Had a small meal here with a friend. Great wine selection by the glass and very good service, look forward to going back and trying more of the menu selection. We didn't know the hours and were still there while they were closing, once I realized it we left but staff was so polite they didn't rush us out.

While I am not a miser when issuing tips, I am still old school and believe that the amount of tip should be earned and determined by the level of service one receives, not what they think they are worth. And to the restaurant owners, this is like trying to subsidize the wages you pay your staff. If you want... More

We had the dining room to ourselves. Mark was our waiter. I had the Mussels with garlic, tomato, lemon, and white wine. Dianne had the "Fusilli della Casa." Both just excellent. Kudos to the chef.

We had an excellent meal here. Lots of choices on the menu, and nice to have a number wines available by the glass.
