Good food good value

We chose a Thursday evening because the restaurant features 2 for 1 appetizers and a discount on wine. The decor is pleasant overlooking the park. We began with the appetizers - I had chili soup which was very good while my gf had a beet salad that she said was outstanding. For entrees, I... read more

The timing of their open was falsely advertised, and we were told that it would open 1 hour later, even if there was a family already seated. They could not serve a 5 top, with such a basic and limited menu. Not impressed. Lastly, Diego; the general manager, was a very rude little hobbit, when i asked about booking an... More

Good Day. I am having difficulties recalling this incident. I would love to discuss this with you off line, preferably in a telephone conversation. If that is not what you would prefer I can be reached at gm.evolution@wowhospitality.com. Being rude to our guests is not what we stand for at WOW Hospitality. We value our guests and work hard everyday... More

Today I had the pleasure of having lunch with some of my old friends from work at the new Food Evolution restaurant in Kildonan Park. Their times and menu are on-line. I strongly recommend reservations as the place was full. The atmosphere was very nice with a great view of the park from almost every seat. For those who are... More

The renovation of the Pavilion in Kildonan Park is nothing short of magnificent. The new restaurant is tastefully done and has a back ground aroma of the wood burning stove. The wait staff was attentive and extremely pleasant. Myself and a friend went for lunch. The food was delicious. Cooked just perfectly. I had a burger with sautéed onions and... More

When I saw that the chef from the long-ago Lindenwoods restaurant Dacquisto had opened this up, I was really excited--and even more so when I saw that they have a wood-fired oven and offer a Wednesday night $10 pizza special. I couldn't wait to try it. The pizzas at Dacquisto were exceptionally good. What a disappointment awaited at Food Evolution!... More

In the heart of Kildonan Park. I remember the building being a concession stand and warming hut for the ice rink (and it still looks like that). Menu selections are few which makes picking easier. They have several evening specials that are not on the menu. Picky eaters may not apply. Had the Pickeral which was lovely but worth $21.00,... More

This was certainly not the Kildonan Park Pavilion that I remember from my childhood. No hotdogs or fries tonight and I was more than pleased with that. The setting is beautiful and can only get lovelier as spring and summer set in. The restaurant is pleasant with plenty of room between tables so you aren't accidentally listening to other's conversations.... More

Beautiful location in the Park quite near us. The menu was expensive for what we had. I had never had fried Brussels sprout before and don't plan on ever having it again. We go for walks quite frequently in this park and would love to be able to just drop in and have a coffee and/or little snack. I would... More

We had a pleasant lunch. The food was good but nothing special, desert was very good, service was mediocre. Very pleasant and quiet.

First Sunday brunch visit. Most impressed with menu, staff and decent location. Feels like Wisconsin. The food more than lived up to expectations. And proportion sizes were just right. The place needs better promo, signage and recognition. Too many people still think it's a coffee and hot dog joint. Best brunch we've had in ten years or more. Our servers... More
