I have never had anything from Tall Grass that isn't fantastic. It can be costly, but it's worth it in the end. You get good quality foods made from good quality ingredients. Their chocolate cake is amazing as is there cinnamon buns. This truly is a great bakery.

We've been to The Forks Market a number of times and always stop at the Tall Grass Prairie Bakery. Their sticky cinnamon buns are by far the best we've ever had! This time we tried the chocolate banana bread pudding...WOW was it super yummy!! And paired with a coffee from Human Bean Coffee & Tea Shop...perfect! If you get there... More

Absolutely fabulous baking from scratch. You have to try the wholewheat cinnamon buns and a coffee for an afternoon snack.

Don't go hungry. The baking is excellent and you will want everything you see. Cinnamon buns are the best.

We went to try this bakery on Saturday morning after seen good reviews here. We loved it! Tried 'Breakfast square' and cinnamon buns. Breakfast square is also called as something like vegitable pudding which was amozing. It was freshly baked from the oven at 9am so it was even better! Warm tasty breakfast square! We liked the fact that it... More

I've had various pastries and they weren't anything to write home about. The pecan bar is really good though, and prices are reasonable.

I came here for breakfast before a day of meetings in downtown Winnipeg. The pastries and cinnamon buns are a perfect start to the day. I especially enjoyed being in the Forks market building before the market officially opens, just watching vendors start to set up while enjoying a cinnamon bun and a coffee.

Such wonderful wholesome cinnamon buns and excellent bread! Held up well for a trip to a cabin outside town withstanding hearing up in a frypan with a little butter. Homey and delicious - easy to develop an addiction to these gems

So many wholesome natural foods to eat but my favorite is the whole wheat cinnamon buns. Pies, bread and scones are also delicious.
