Great every time

I've eaten at Boon about 4 or 5 times and each time has been wonderful. The burgers are huge and full of delicious, fresh ingredients. Their Caesar salad is great- something I don't get to enjoy too often being vegan. Their fries are baked and not fried and delicious. The interior of the... read more

As a seasoned vegan I have travelled all around the world seeking the best of the best vegan food I can find (i have a moustache so you can trust me). Often vegan chefs make the mistake of making substitute "meats" that try to taste like real meat. It's pathetic like an apple trying to taste like an orange. Vegan... More

Meh. The food was tasty enough but I certainly wasn't blown away. Maybe for vegans this place is something special, but as a non-vegan I found it a little overpriced and overhyped. I had a buddha burger with side kale and arugula salad. I was hoping to discover a new excellent meatless burger based on the great reviews this place... More

First off I should note I am not vegetarian. However, after reading the Trip Advisor reviews I thought the burgers would be amazing despite containing no meat. The restaurant was charming, very community oriented. The service was great, but seat yourself and fill your own drinks. The burger was generally good but difficult to eat as the patties are somewhat... More

The title says it all. The burgers are all fantastic vegan burgers and I really appreciate the fact that the restaurant does not throw anything in the trash. It's either recycled or composted.

This is a Vegan restaurant with some interesting options beyond tofu. Several different burgers with several different options for toppings. The burgers are really large with the square bun they come inside, best to use your utensils unless you've got a big mouth! Tasty poutine, too, and lots of it, so maybe share with a friend. Long tables invite some... More

We have been to boon burger a couple of times and is has been consistent - consistently a little crowded (but that is because it is very small) and consistently good flavours in the food. The Veg hotdog is large and filling and my teenage son said the veg burger is tied for the best one he has ever had.... More

As a non-vegan/vegetarian, this place is right up there as one of my favourite casual restaurants in Winnipeg. I love the Buddha burger and house salad. My personal preference is the bannatyne location, especially in the summer and sitting outside. I haven't ordered them myself, but most people I go with rave about their homemade fries.

OMG I love this place. I have been to many, many places that try and make a great vege burger and this is one out of three places that make them perfect. What's so great about this place is your don't have to be vegan to enjoy it. The salads are some of the best I have ever had with... More

The poutine we ordered from here was expensive and had almost nothing aside fronm gravy, abhorent loads of sesame seeds, and a sandy taste... yes, I said sandy. Wasn't overly tasy, the McDonalds nearby served a better version of poutine, but we had hoped to avoid Mc'D's and buy rom a local eatery with supposed high reviews.
