Great place for excellent food! I really enjoy this place, the food was so good! And so fresh. Great atmosphere and concept! Bench style seating makes it feel sort of communal, but it works. Also good to know, no deep fryer here!

Boon Burger is one of our favorite restaurants -- excellent taste, nutrition, and value ... and with the choice of four distinct patties and numerous topics there is always a new burger to try. My wife & I like to order burgers with different paddies and then share.

Read reviews on Foursquare and we had to check this place out. The Buddha burger was highly recommended and I would add highly to that recommendation. This vegetarian/vegan restaurant surprised us because the burgers were so good. The fries were very tasty as was the tea. You get one free refill. It is pricey but worth it. Many restaurants give... Okay. In the interest of full disclosure, I'm not a vegetarian, although I certainly have no objection to veggies. But I recently got dragged back here by friends after a less than happy first visit. I went along with an open mind. But there is just nothing appealing about soggy crumbly "burgers" and soggy fries. Frankly I just don't get... More

I heard about this place from non-vegetarians, which must mean it's good. Love the variety of burgers, soups are always delicious, salads and house-made dressings are tasty. Not a fan of the baked fries, would rather have them fried, they're not crispy, and a little chewy, and no amount of seasoning makes up for that.

I had the Cowboy Burger, which is a black bean patty with BBQ sauce. It was difficult to tell that it was meatless. It was very tasty. I also had the oven-baked "fries" and they were great as well (although the portion was a bit small). Their selection of burgers is outstanding.

I had the thanksgiving burger and it was fantastic! I went with a friend what has both a gluten and dairy intolerance and she had no problem finding things to eat here. I will definitely be back again. Their coconut ice cream is to die for!

We like walking around different parts of the city. This past weekend was no exception. After a great walk looking at all the different buildings that Winnipeg's Exchange District has to offer the casual stroller, we lucked upon the Boon Burger Café on Banatyne. They have a smallish outdoor patio (4 tables methinks) and a nice venue inside a renovated... More

Vegan burgers? You bet! This small cafe has fabulous food and a laid back vibe. This meat eater (shh..don't tell them) enjoyed every bite. And the fries are sooo tasty! Highly recommend this cafe.
