We have visited Terrace in the Park on several occasions, recently for an anniversary celebration. Each time we go the food gets a little worse. The location of the restaurant along with its bright decor and excellent service should make it one of the best restaurants in Winnipeg. Sadly, the food is hit and miss and it appears the place... More upscale dining in the park; recommend the salmon which was excellent. Outdoor seating on the terrace is very enjoyable. Nice selection of wine, and good service.

My family and I celebrated a special event recently and were generally not impressed with the dining experience in general. While the service was attentive though slow, the food was mediocre, the choice of champagnes & desserts were at best average. The value for money would also at best be average. Where this place scores well is the ambience and... More

We went to Terrace in the Park for our 10th anniversary. It was absolutely fantastic! The restaurant is beautifully situated in a glass enclosed solarium with tables available also outside. The service could not have been better with an attentive yet quiet manner. The food was beyond tasty and came quickly and cooked to perfection. Also, the online reservation system... More

My family and I went here for my 25th birthday breakfast. It was a Saturday morning and the restaurant was completely empty the whole time we were there, which is a little surprising since we had a great time. Our server was great. I can't remember his name but he was very attentive. They gave us a complimentary bread basket... More

My sister in law arranged a set menu with a couple of choices for both appetizer and main course and the food was excellent. The Pickerel was amazing as was the stuffed chicken breast. The service was 1st rate. Our only complaint was the room was so bright and the sun was so hot my mother in law had to... More

Went to this place for lunch on a Saturday and the room was quite bright with natural sunlight and simple elegance. The prices were a little high for Winnipeg but the food was very fresh and good. I had the mussels in a wine sauce with fries, which I thought was an dd combination to offer. It is a perfect... More

The food selection was poor, the chef making omelettes didn't know how to flip one so scrambled the eggs and that is ignoring that he handled the ingredients with his bare hands. Health hazard!, The prime rib was raw and 99% fat. There was nothing good, expensive will never go back.

Gorgeous location. We have eaten here both summer on the patio and winter inside. The decor is elegant. The service is professional and attentive in the old-fashioned style which some may consider obsequious. The menu is varied and the wine list very good. As of 2014 the side dishes are à la carte. They are expensive but quite generous and... More

This is a lovely place for a leisurely 5 course brunch. Includes a mimosa . You choose an item from each course. We've tried several main entrees- all delicious and beautifully presented. You can't beat the beautiful location in Assiniboine Park.
