We had what should have been spectacular but was a disappointment for us both, I had the top sirloin steak and my wife had the stuffed chicken breast, neither were what we had hoped for, that knock your socks off great meal. They were both rather tasteless. We had a different draft each that were close to the same and... More

It's been a while since I had Prime Rib and Chop Steakhouse and Bar didn't disappoint. Had the 12 ounch prime rib dinner with wild rice and a side salad and it was great. Would definitely come back to try other items on the menu.

WOW, what a great place....make sure you get a round of SHARK BITES before your meal very tasty.... Chop is a great place , great food, excellent service, great atmosphere and deco, good music and plenty of TV's. Lots of choice for draft beer, I went with a Krohnberg. Prices are reasonable. Location in Sandman was awesome for business travel.... More

The restaurant is very expensive. And the food, please don't get me started on it's very bad. Me and friends ordered our foods and each one of our food was very bad. it had no taste. And it was very hard to chew. We are not coming back ever again

Definitely some of the worst food I have had in Winnipeg and I have tried A LOT of places. Portions are extremely small and not filling and food quality is horrible, especially for their prices. $30 for a "steak" the smaller than the size of your average fist. Did not try the alcohol but I would assume that it would... More

This was my 5th time dining at Chop Steakhouse & Bar, including hosting a staff Chritsmas party last December. The food and service has been fantastic each time I've been there. The restaurant also has a very nice decor. Definitely one of the top restaurants in Winnipeg.

I wanted a nice place to take a business colleague for lunch. Hy's is over done so I selected Chop. I had last visited a few years ago for dinner. I raved about it then and I'm pleased to say it's still wonderful. Restaurant. Upscale and tasteful. Different ambiance during the day vs evening. Brighter. Where as evening I remember... More

I thought this was a bit more up-scale than it was... It was ok, but nothing special. Drinks were good, service was good, food was okay.

My spouse and I had this restaurant (and two others) recommended by our hotel and, being the closest and lovers of steak and prime rib, decided upon Chop. The atmosphere is upscale and modern but the "music" (I guess that definition would essentially cover it) was a mixture of some type of rock and blended with weird noises. Looking at... More

Went here with a few guys from work. This is the first time I've ever sent back 2 meals. The first thing I ordered was a prime rib. It was the greasiest, toughest, tasteless piece of meat I've ever been served by far in any restaurant. Sides were over cooked, veggies that had no flavour. A couple of the other... More
