Very Good Wood Fired Pizza

We had not been here before, and fortunately we thought to make reservations, as there were people waiting at the door before it opened, and it filled up quickly. The menu is quite different, with unusual ingredients, and none of the pizzas were anything we had really heard of before. Between us... read more

This place has been a favourite for us for a while now. Love sitting on the patio in the summer. The food is absolutely delicious, light (doesn't feel like a brick in your gut) and super affordable.

We had not been here before, and fortunately we thought to make reservations, as there were people waiting at the door before it opened, and it filled up quickly. The menu is quite different, with unusual ingredients, and none of the pizzas were anything we had really heard of before. Between us we tried 5 different kinds of pizza, and... More

I popped in here to grab a pizza with my wife after work but I had no idea you needed to make reservations . It seems like a pizza restaurant/lounge atmosphere, dark with music and wine from what I've seen. I just decided to take out and eat at home instead, I didn't expect not to get a seat but... More

We went to Pizzeria Gusto two weekends in a row. everything we ordered was absolutely amazing. The service is very personable and prompt. The pizza is made in a clay wood burning oven and taste unbelievable. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very relaxing. i would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Pizzeria El Gusto handled this office christmas party very well. The menu was a bit off-putting with the unusual ingredients and language, but everything I tasted was delicious. Who knew that brussel sprouts could taste good?! My "Sinatra" pizza was unusual but good. The staff were all excellent. You can watch your pizza coming out of the wood-fired oven.

Was there for a late lunch earlier today and had a fabulous experience. I had a funghi pizza (mushroom, red onion, Italian sausage and cheese) and it was excellent. We were not there during peak hours, so it was fairly empty and not a lot of staff on, but service was still excellent. My guest had a couple of appetizers,... More

We went here for dinner on a weeknight without reservation assuming we'd have no problem getting in and we got the last two spots! The place was full through our entire meal-a testament to its popularity. The pizzas were great- fresh and flavourful and the service was thoughtful. They were quick to rectify a problem with our order and make... More

Bobby and his team do a great job. When asked about my favourite restaurant, Pizzeria Gusto is hands down my go to. whether its an anniversary with my wife or business dinner with out of town guests, I have never had a bad experience. I have been going to PG since before it opened and will continue to go.

I enjoyed my pizza, my boyfriend did not. Wine by the glass extremely expensive (their cheapest option was $11 for 6oz and I think it was that gross Pasqua sangiovese extremely cheap swill). Seating in the restaurant was full, so they offered patio seating, saying there were heaters out there and blankets available. The propane heaters kept blowing out, and... More

I have been to PG many, many times and can say without hesitation it is the best casual dining experience in Winnipeg. The staff are all long serving and amazing. The wood fired pizzas and other specialty dishes are incredible. The wine list has something for everyone with many fantastic Italian specialty choices - including Tolani. The patio in the... More
