Lots of locals and and state and city workers eat here so it must be good and it is. Don't be in a rush, sit, relax and unwind. Not much to do in Churchill when you are not touring so what's the rush? The food is always good (it was our second trip to Churchill) and the staff is very... More

Considering the location this was a little jewel. Like something out of a Discovery Channel show on remote northern Canadian villages. Menu was eclectic and food well prepared. Service a bit slow but fit the pace of the village. Staff quite pleasant. Not open on Sunday.

Their desserts and pastries are really good. Prices are reasonable. We stopped there a couple afternoon for coffee and a treat. Easy access and opened up for long hours.

Depending on what you expect - after all we are far North - Gypsy's bakery produces wonderful pastry and sweets. Its lunch specials are highly recommended, only the ambiente reminds of a seasoned school cafeteria... Staff is mostly helpful and friendly, communications seems sometimes limited by high background noise and language barrier ( I do not speak Inuktitut and my... More

This place is BUSY. Food is hot, tasty and served quickly. Obviously the most popular place on this small town.

We live locally and have been here many times. The order system works and the service is always good. We've had most of the menu in one way or another and I have a thing for the burgers. We sometimes get the pastries to go as you just have to have some, they are amazing. Will be back very soon.

I always look forward to eating here! It is my standby for lunches. There is a good variety to food offered up, the staff is friendly, and my coffee cup was always topped up. And the baking! All so good! The cinnamon rolls are so huge, they are a meal unto themselves.

All the food I had was really tasty and served with a family flair. There are lots of locals that you will encounter here so interesting conversation is certainly available. There is a wide variety of food including pastas, meat dishes, deli items and warm breakfast. And then there is the bakery portion of the counter - quite amazing. Apple... More

We ate or had food catered from here for 3 meals a day for 5 days. There was always a variety of choices and the food was excellent. The staff became friends and the service was great. And the pastries offered were divine.

You don't go to Churchill for the food. Gypsy's was one of the places our tour guide took us to. Food was good and service prompt. You place your order at the counter, then take a number to your table and the order comes. There were 14 of us. Several orders of 2 different dishes. All of the folks who... More
