Depending on what you expect - after all we are far North - Gypsy's bakery produces wonderful pastry and sweets. Its lunch specials are highly recommended, only the ambiente reminds of a seasoned school cafeteria... Staff is mostly helpful and friendly, communications seems sometimes limited by high background noise and language barrier ( I do not speak Inuktitut and my... More

This place is BUSY. Food is hot, tasty and served quickly. Obviously the most popular place on this small town.

We live locally and have been here many times. The order system works and the service is always good. We've had most of the menu in one way or another and I have a thing for the burgers. We sometimes get the pastries to go as you just have to have some, they are amazing. Will be back very soon.

I always look forward to eating here! It is my standby for lunches. There is a good variety to food offered up, the staff is friendly, and my coffee cup was always topped up. And the baking! All so good! The cinnamon rolls are so huge, they are a meal unto themselves.

All the food I had was really tasty and served with a family flair. There are lots of locals that you will encounter here so interesting conversation is certainly available. There is a wide variety of food including pastas, meat dishes, deli items and warm breakfast. And then there is the bakery portion of the counter - quite amazing. Apple... More

We ate or had food catered from here for 3 meals a day for 5 days. There was always a variety of choices and the food was excellent. The staff became friends and the service was great. And the pastries offered were divine.

You don't go to Churchill for the food. Gypsy's was one of the places our tour guide took us to. Food was good and service prompt. You place your order at the counter, then take a number to your table and the order comes. There were 14 of us. Several orders of 2 different dishes. All of the folks who... More

Enjoyed the food but the service can be slow. You have to go up to the counter to order (breakfast and lunch service) and then wait with your number. This is fine but because of the number of group tours in November we found this frustratingly slow especially at breakfast when you want to get out to see the polar... More

We had 2 meals and enjoyed the fish & chips, ham sandwich on homemade bread, and wonderful pastries. The service was good and staff friendly.

Good burger platter. Even though the restaurant was crowded, we had a short wait and never felt rushed to leave. Despite the crowds, service was swift and efficient. Sweets are phenomenal!
