This place has great food, pastries and the service was very good. The food was also more affordable than some of the other restaurants we ate at.

We went here a few times while staying in Churchilll both for dinner, lunch-sandwiches and baked treats. Everything was very tasty, and the staff are very friendly. Worth a visit while in Churchill!

Dropped in while waiting for our flight to a remote lodge. It looks like a stereotypical country, but with great coffee and bakery goods. The staff coped well with a bunch of Aussies and Brits descending on them and were friendly and helpful. The coffee was some of the best expresso we had in Canada (Australians have a thing for... Breakfast, lunch or dinner - Gypsy's is THE place to be. The food is excellent, service great, and they can accommodate special dietary requests. The coffee is the best in town - always a reason for my return to any restaurant! And they don't mind if you hang out and visit with the locals. Suggestion - free WiFi, please? Thanks,... More

Dropped in for a late lunch and struggled to read the burnt-out back-lit picture menus behind the counter. Staff were friendly and helpful though and we ordered burgers. Plenty of seating to chose from. Our waiter was attentive and our food was served quickly. The portion size was larger than I'd expected so I couldn't finish it. We'll go back.

Lots of locals and and state and city workers eat here so it must be good and it is. Don't be in a rush, sit, relax and unwind. Not much to do in Churchill when you are not touring so what's the rush? The food is always good (it was our second trip to Churchill) and the staff is very... More

Considering the location this was a little jewel. Like something out of a Discovery Channel show on remote northern Canadian villages. Menu was eclectic and food well prepared. Service a bit slow but fit the pace of the village. Staff quite pleasant. Not open on Sunday.

Their desserts and pastries are really good. Prices are reasonable. We stopped there a couple afternoon for coffee and a treat. Easy access and opened up for long hours.

Depending on what you expect - after all we are far North - Gypsy's bakery produces wonderful pastry and sweets. Its lunch specials are highly recommended, only the ambiente reminds of a seasoned school cafeteria... Staff is mostly helpful and friendly, communications seems sometimes limited by high background noise and language barrier ( I do not speak Inuktitut and my... More
