Lovely, Unique Atmosphere

Lovely, unique atmosphere, almost a destination in itself. Bakery, salads and soups very nice. Looks like a good place for evening entertainment.

Stopped in for a quick lunch, as it turned out it was a slow and rather disappointing waste of time and money. First off, the hostess who seated us gave the impression that she'd rather be elsewhere. She wanted to seat us in the middle of the empty restaurant and when we asked for a seat by the window (after... More

We have been stopping here twice a year on our way across Canada for about 5 years. We have had some great meals here, if you can get them to serve you. We come on a Thursday because of this restaurant, they are only open for dinners TH- F-S and we have been left hungry showing up on a Wednesday.... More

The lunches are delicious, especially the Wine and Cheese salad and the Mushroom soup! Unfortunately there is no more live music in the evenings!

I eat here a lot because I can depend on the fresh, locally-sourced (as much as possible) food. I'm from out of town and it's a nice place to meet someone for lunch or supper when I'm in Brandon. The salads are always bright and fresh - never any wilted or tired looking greens here - and the homemade soups... More

Thank you so much for your lovely review, we do try very hard to keep our products as fresh and as local as possible! I do agree that during peak meal times we can be a bit loud, those expansive ceilings are great for our live music and entertainment on the weekends but can create an auditorium feel when we... The atmosphere is lovely, the food is well made and it just feels like a visit back home. I dare you to walk around the attached store and not buy anything. They have great gift ideas in the store and they do a lovely job gift wrapping.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! Our staff and management team work very hard to continually improve our service and surroundings so there is always a reason to return! Cory and Christine do a fabulous job buying and presenting their finds in our gift shop and it is continuously changing. We look forward to your next visit! More
