Good food!

It was good but very busy. We had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated and when we asked the server to give us a few minutes while we decided, we didn't see her again. Eventually a manager took our order. The food didn't take too long once we ordered and it was really good! The tarter sauce was... read more

Moby Dick's has the best 'Fish'n Chips' on the beach. Have been eating fish 'n chips for years on the beach and they are consistently the best using real Cod! Weather providing usually do take-out and eat on the beach but have enjoyed the rustic beachy diner inside.

We have been eating Moby's fish and chips for years. It's consistently the best fish & chips we've ever had. And their tartar sauce is the perfect accompaniment (a secret in-house recipe). You can dine in their beachy dining room, on the patio or pick it up and take it across the street to the beach to eat. Phone ahead,... More

When in White Rock make sure and stop in for lunch at Moby Dick's for their fish & chips. It's the best fish & chips you'll have ever! The restaurant was a bit crowded but we got there at the perfect time to get a small table by the door. It got busy really fast afterward. Service was a bit... More

Took my mom to dinner here Feb.9th/15 because she longed for some good old fashion fish & chips. Well.. did we hit the right place. Though the inside is fairly small, they do have a covered outdoor heated area just in front. It was a cool rainy dinnertime so we chose inside. It was packed! The only downside was.. it's... More

Stopped at this restaurant for a quick lunch. Had fish and chips, it was good, quick and not expensive, a bit too greasy for my liking. The atmosphere in the restaurant is really cool, with an immense collection of maritime themed memorabilia. The service was very good and very polite.

mountains of fries, 12 pieces of superb deep fried to perfection fish, mushy peas- not quite as good as they were in Yorkshire, and I still cant understand why the don't serve slices of bread and butter as opposed to hamburger buns. The chip butties are not the same on a bun!!!!

For me , far to greasy. I can't understand all the hype stating this the best fish and chips in White Rock. When at very best it is average.

First time visit to Moby Dicks. Was recommended by a friend and was not disappointed. The fish fees, not all chips. Like most fish and chip restaurants. Service great friendly people. Restaurant definitely has that Moby Dick ambiance. A must to see a must to have
