Best French fries ever!

This is a great place to eat and enjoy the sea view. We had fish and chips and it was all very well done and presented very well. The chips are HOMEMADE and absolutely the real deal. A very nice night out.

We had halibut and chips and the fish was very dry and over cooked. Our server told us that it was the gluten free batter that gave the fish a different texture. The batter had nothing to do with the chef's inability to cook fish properly. We told the server that we were not happy with our food and she... More

We had high hopes when we tried Jan's a couple months ago. However, we found both the food and the service uninspired and see no reason to return.

We hummed and hawed which restaurant to choose along the strip, read the reviews for Jan's, read the website extensive menu and had a chat with her to set up serving a birthday cake and were really looking forward to the food. Service was fine but the food.....ugh....dried out calamari, gluey arancini, and dried up fish.. Hot seafood salad dressing was... More

Took thirty minutes for the waitress to bring me a menu and then another thirty minutes for our drinks and hour for a simple traditional breakfast When the food arrived it was very good but not worth this poor service and long wait

Jan's on the Beach offers something few restaurants can claim: that all food is made from scratch on the premesis. For that, much praise. And too, the menu is diverse and interesting. I'm a crazy foodie with chef skills, and this is just the kind of place I love to find for those days I'd rather be fed than go... More

We had an enjoyable evening on the patio of this restaurant, watching people walk by, and cars cruising the strip. Dinner was tasty, and well prepared. I'm glad we were outside, as the inside looked pretty worn. The service was fine, and the price was appropriate.

What an awful experience, I cheked the website to look at the menu before I came and thought, oh it looks decent and they have my favourite meal, Duck! It was awful! They gave me roasted potatoes that were boiled and on a plate! Nothing else! Then then the duck, oh boy it was like eating meat with no flavour... More

We went on a very sunny day at the end of February. What a view on the deck! We had a light lunch of appies and white wine. The food was great as was the wine and the service. I highly recommend that you consider this restaurant for your visit to White Rock.

Nice patio next to the sidewalk ,that gives you a great view of the bay. Food was average. Coleslaw was missing flavor, tartar sauce was very mild. Service was excellent. Jesse was an excellent server. The menu has enough to choose from.
