We went for a stroll along the White Rock Promenade yesterday and feeling hungry for French Fries passed by Coney Island Seafood. Thinking they would be like all the others along the strip, I was wrong. I ordered a medium fries thinking a small portion only to find it was a very generous portion and taste wonderful. There was so... More

There are plenty of fish and chip restaurants along the White Rock Beach strip. I have lived here for over 35 years and have been going to Coney Island for fish and chips as far back as I can remember. On the rare occasion that they are closed, I have tried other fish and chip establishments on the beach. I... More

I've been going to Coney Island for years now, they even know me by name. I love fish and chips and have tried numerous restaurants fish and chips over the years but nothing beats Coney Island. The portions are HUGE! The batter is perfect and the size of the fish is the biggest I've ever had. I crave this place... More

My god. $14 for a huge pile of fries and two large slabs of crispy fried cod. Terrific!!! We had been eating at a fancy eatery down the street and watched these cardboard boxes of fish and chips walking past in the arms of hungry diners. We finally cut our fancy dinner short and joined the throngs--so glad we did!

This place is always delicious whenever I go. I always get the halibut and chips with a side of gravy, and I'm always left completely stuffed and with a smile on my face. The servers are also really polite as well. If you want larger portions, eat in! I do both a lot, but you tend to get a lot... More

This was our first visit to Coney Island - but we will be back! I had the cod and my brother had the halibut. Both were piping hot and cooked to perfection. By far the best on the strip! We were looking for a light lunch so we each only had one piece of fish - and that was plenty.... More

Coney Island in White Rock produces the absolute best fish and chips on the white rock east beach/west beach fish and chip frenzy. They carefully select the fish that they are willing to cook and then they prepare same in a unique fashion minimizing the batter and maximizing the fish and chip experience. They carefully coat the fish with their... More

I love spending time with my wife, and it was a beautiful April afternoon when I thought I would take her for a nice spring walk on the White Rock wharf, and finish with a nice dinner. I was always told that White Rock had some of the best Fish and Chip restaurants in the Greater Vancouver Area. Using TripAdvisor... More

We just had dinner on Saturday night. Place is a little dated but the food surprised me. Excellent fish and chips. Massive portions. Great service. The prices are so cheap. I would go back here again with out question. Check them out.
