I love this place on Sundays when there is live Irish music. My husband and I go for the very good soup, especially clam chowder, and the music.

I really liked Slainte but it has closed! No point saying anything more.....you need to update data base to show restaurant as CLOSED.

Very good food and excellent specials. Great location overlooking the ocean and the strollers. Parking can be a challenge on a sunny day but the walk to the restaurant is by the ocean so very pleasant.

Was attracted to this pub by the sound of live Irish music as we passed, the atmosphere was great, the Guinness was great but the food terrible. Myself and my wife ordered the Halibut and chips, it arrived nice and hot but the Halibut was obviously out of a box or bag it had this hard thick coating of solid... More

I was visiting Vancouver for business from and stopped in for a pint. Coupled with a delicious beef stew it made for a great evening, will definitely be back... The Guinness alone is worth the flight!

A girlfriend of mine bought a Groupon for this place, so on a hot Saturday we decided to try it out for lunch. Got there around noon (it opens at 11:30) and we were the second table there. We received menus from a no personality man who was our server... he walked away and finally came back for our drink... More

During a day trip around Surrey, we went down to White Rock. When we arrived we were ready to eat somewhere, and there are many places to chose from here. We chose Slainte` and enjoyed a grand lunch. Our hostess/server was a pleasure, the menu made us feel at home, the food was great. A nice spot to enjoy life... More

We wandered in on Saint Patrick's Day and lucked into a table by the windows. The place was packed so we were quite happy to get in. We ordered an appie & beers, expecting to stay just a little while, thumbing through the big books of Irish photographs. Then our waitress asked if a woman who was on her own... More

If you don't value your Groupon customers or feel you must treat them as second class, don't advertize there. We came in for dinner and wanted to use our groupon, did not realize reservations are mandatory, our fault I admit. The fellow came to our table and gave a big speech about he would essentially do us a favor and... More

Dear Sir We plan our staffing schedule by the weather and by our reservation book. That is why we expect customers with groupon to make a reservation. We have sold over 600 groupons and we have to be able to control the flow of their arrival. You and your wife walked in at 5.30pm on a busy Saturday without a... More
