Great location, average food

Great potential, but it feels as though they haven't got it quite right. The food was pretty good, its not cheap, but service was very slow. It feels as though it is more casual dining/family oriented.

We ate downstairs, which they call the Surfside Bar & Grill. TV's all over the place.....finally got staff to turn the sound off. My crab soup was ok......nothing spectacular. We ordered an $18 3-piece cod & fries for the two of us to share. With a magnifying glass was able to find the fries. Each piece of fish was tiny....more... More

I say this often in reviews but there really should be another rating between Average & Very Good. Our lunch here was that. I enjoyed my crab & shrimp melt, though the crab was very shredded, (dare I say maybe even canned?), versus lump. The small salad that came with it was quite good. My husband's cod & chips were... We recently stopped in for fish and fries. Was average at best. Nice location and view can be tremendous.

The awesome and panoramic view of the ocean is 'free'. We both ordered seafood which we were disappointed with. I have been eating Dungeness crab and Alaskan King Crab for a number of years in the Vancouver area. I found the Alaskan King Crab to be very salty and not a good flavor and the vegetables were below average. The... More

My husband and I were excited to dine here for an intimate staff party. (4 couples) I ordered the Alaskan King Crab and for the price I was expecting perfection. I must say that the crab was done perfectly but I was disappointed at the remainder of my plate. I was served very dry potatoes and soggy veggies. I am... More

Took two of my staff there last night for a treat after a trip to the U.S. Waited 5 minutes for a table when restaurant was not even at half capacity. Server was efficient, but not really friendly. She was also shabbily dressed. At one point she came over pour water and rudely interrupted a conversation we were having. Food... More

Found this place after a local in Surrey suggested going for lunch on Marine Drive in White Rock. Crab fest time so I had the steak and Alaskan King Crab. Steak cooked to perfection and crab even better. Plenty of gluten free options for my coeliac friend too. Service a little slow to start with but they made up for... More

Lovely place to sit and watch the sunset on Semihamoo Bay. The service is a little slow but overall, we were satisfied. A little pricey.

My boyfriend and I went here for drinks and appies. I ordered a cocktail from the menu that looked delicious from the photo on the menu but tasted nothing like it was described once I finally got it. I questioned the server and she said that they had run out of some of the ingredients so were substituting so thats... More
