I recently attended a conference in Whistler and following the day's session, met with friends in the lounge of our hotel. A few of us - 8 - decided to find a place for dinner in the village. Our first stop couldn't handle the group for 2 hours. Someone suggested Italian, it got an enthusiastic thumbs up and off we... More

Food is pretty good. Expensive place and so noisy. Our waitress was terrible. Always tapping us when she needed to talk to us. Again, the place is so noisy maybe that is the only way she can get our attention.

In despair after the first five days of our holiday were ruined by unremitting Whistler rain and dank low cloud, we went for a long Friday lunch at the Trattoria. We were immediately uplifted by a familiar attractive Italian ambiance with a strong whiff of New York, as Sinatra and others played in the background. The restaurant was quiet, service... More

We consistently enjoy the food, atmosphere, service and experience at 'the Trattoria'. We have been several times and have never been disappointed. If I had anything to remark on that isn't favourable it would be that the well known 'host' sometimes recognizes us and other times doesn't. Interesting to my spouse and I as we are always polite and treat... More

Excellent menu, good wine list, best bar view of the kitchen, sometimes pretty crowded, as the manager likes to pack them in, but this adds to the atmosphere, which is good. Favourite lunch place in Whistler, #3 for dinner.

We have been to this restaurant several times and have found the food to be consistently tasty and fresh. The service is always excellent and very efficient. Very kid friendly too. I think it helps that we generally go on the early side, around 5:30 and 6. The restaurant gets very full later. Always somewhere to come back to in... More

Despite having a reservation, we waited 2 hours for our food. When brought to the attention of the server, we were met with indifference and arrogance....like it was our fault. We asked to speak with the manager and he, too, was indifferent and arrogant. I am not sure why anyone would run a restaurant in this manner. Seems counterproductive to... More

We visited this Restaurant 3 days ago recommend by the couple we went with. My husband and I were not disappointed real value for money and very tasty. I had the famous Fettuccine al' Indiania, which has been on the menu over 30 years, so the waiter told us. How it eventuated was, there were 2 Indians working in the... More

Very popular Whistler location, however the individual customers do not matter. We had to wait 1.5 hour before we got served food. Manager and the staff were not responsive to our concerns. They basically told us, we do not need your business, we are busy enough, and do not care about you!! We have been coming to Whistler over 25... More
