The service was excellent the menu good but a bit expensive. Wine prices were very high. It was a weeknight and the waiter said that it was actually quieter than normal, but I found it far too noisy. Waiter explained that trattorias are supposed to be noisy, hence the lack of carpeting or any attempt to reduce the sound level... More

We have been to Umberto's on numerous occasions - so i was looking forward to our visit. On a Saturday night in Whistler - the place was packed ~ great atmosphere! We were quickly seated and served our drinks - so far so good! And we ordered right away. I started with a Caeser salad, and was underwhelmed! Have had... More

We go to Trats whenever we are at Whistler, which is often throughout ski seasons. We know every time we go we'll get great food and great service. Sometimes we sit at the counter looking into the kitchen and just have them feed us what they're liking that evening and it always turns out wonderful. And they work around my... More

Trattoria di Umberto remains one of our favorites in Whistler - good food, good service, nice warm ambience, and less formal than the other Umberto's on the main stroll. We started with the cambozola crostini appetizer, a large gooey slice of warm cheese to spread on the crostini garnished with roasted garlic and tomato slivers. Linguini with pesto was perfect.... We had a great dinner here. The food was very good. We shared the prosciutto appetiser and then had veal scallopini and ossobucco. Both were excellent. The restaurant is casual and cosy. The service excellent. We will certainly eat here again.

We came with a group of friends and all our kids after the "accidental" reservation thinking this was the other Umbertos in the Village. We decided to give it a try since it's the same Exacutive Chief. The food was good, service was ok (a little slow), but when compared to the other Umbertos in the Village this one didn't... More

As long time(8 years) patrons of this restaurant we are never disappointed. The food is always of the highest quality and the service is always good. The menu is extensive and will appeal to many palates. For the kids the tortellini alfredo is outstanding as is my sons favorite the spaghetti amatriana(a bit spicy!). Recently the salmon and the sea bass(special)... More

We made reservations and confirmed the reservations by phone. We arrived at the restaurant 5 minutes early, and it was pandemonium in the reception area. We were kept waiting for over 20 minutes which was even more frustrating as there were four table empty the whole time. The Maître d / receptionist was rude and indifferent. Incredibly bad service and... More

I love this restaurant and I look forward to eating here when I take a trip to Whistler. As usual, the ambiance was lovely, there were lots of happy diners and the menu looked delicious. I started with the smoked salmon - and it ticked all the boxes. My main course was (my favourite meal) lasagne. When my food arrived... More

Visited the restaurant with my then bf and we had an amazing dinning experience. Booked an 8pm table for two and our waiter was the best guide for our then romantic dinner. We got great service and wine & dinner recomendation. I would likely return as our experience dinning here was great!
