Amazing food

Amazing food, extremely attentive staff. We turned up on a Friday evening without a booking and they went above and beyond to fit us in. Food is more expensive but with the quality and amazing atmosphere you don't mind paying the extra!

Had a spectacular dinner with three friends. The restaurant was warm and inviting. With our reservations we were seated at a great table and were very comfortable. The waitress was helpful with the menu and specials. She recommended an assortment of appetizers for us boys that were spectacular. She recommended "any veal dish" and we were all impressed with our... More

I use this word to describe Trattoria di Umberto's in Whistler Village because of how they handled our party. There were about 145 of us and we pretty much all sat down and ordered at once. The servers were exceptional and they did a superb job at keeping our glasses filled and getting the plates out to all the tables... More

We had a faboulous dinner.it was the best Italian food I had outside of Italy and I am Italian. We enjoyed everything. From the wine to the main dishes. There was no space for desert. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

We almost always dine at The Trat when we're in Whistler. The staff is uniformly friendly, informative and unobtrusive. The terracotta walls give the place a timeless, homey atmosphere, and the food is always excellent. A good place for families early in the evening, and small groups later on. Wide-ranging wine list, with a few real bargains to seek out.... More

Delicious Food and Excellent Service are the obvious hallmarks of this charming restaurant in Whistler, B.C. Service is professional and food requests easily undertaken. I forgot my eye glasses to read the menu and "Cody" our wonderful server, ran and got a basket of readers and cleaned off a pair of glasses for me. I highly recommend a visit when... More

We loved this restaurant. We had excellent service and every dish we ordered was excellent. It was a cozy warm environment and good with or without kids. Really delicious and I would go back every time I go to Whistler.

Traveling with a couple of worldly diners we ended up at Trattoria di Umberto in Whistler. Waiting at the door to be seated, we were a bit concerned by the big tables of large groups and families. It was really loud. Fortunately, we were taken to the other part of the restaurant to a more quiet area. We skipped past... More

Overall I had an excellent dining experience; this restaurant serves primarily pasta dishes. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals, the service was prompt and helpful. Note, if eating with kids there is no kids menu but you can order half portions for half the price.
