fresh, creative and friendly once you sit down. busy place, but worth the wait as folks line up to get in. all good with the exception of the hostesses at the front desk. they are awkward and rude. if they fixe that it would be a 5 star rating.

We went to this restaurant twice while we were in Whistler and it has the freshest sushi I have ever hash! We tried different dishes both times and were impressed with all of them. Our only problem was that you can't make a reservation for less than 6 people, and as a family of 4 you have to walk in... More

This restsurant foes not take reservations for parties under 6. You'll need to arrive beford 6:00pm for a table for 2. Located above the Sundial Hotel near the Whistler Gondola. Ordered the Sake margarita, was ok. The hot sake ( not top shelf) was smooth snd much cheaper than wine. Miso soup warmed us up after a dsy skiing. The... More

Many of the rolls were under $5.00 and the special rolls were under $13.00 but they were all full of rice and no fish or other ingredients. We ordered a shrimp tempura and youd never know it was in there from all the rice. The beers were $8-9 expensive. The bill wasnt big but we basically at rice rolls. Weak... More

Popped in here for dinner on my first evening in Whistler. Heard it was always busy so went late and sat at the bar. Had assorted sashimi as the starter and a couple of the larger rolls after. All fresh and unusual combinations which worked well. There are a few sushi places in town and I hope to try them... More

Loved this place, our waitress ordered for us and did a fantastic job of it. We had so much amazing fresh and tasty dishes I am salivating now even thinking about it and it was more reasonably priced than we were expecting as well. Warm, friendly staff we will definitely be back here!

A bit of a wait to get a table, but the restaurant is justifiably busy. We enjoyed all our food, especially the scallop & shitake yakimono. Reasonably priced for very well made rolls.

Seared salmon in a box. Definitely not as good as Minami (Vancouver), but it's significantly cheaper too. Other dishes were fine for the price but nothing to crow about. The taste and texture of wild salmon is exquisite. Try it. Slowly. All the best.

I'm tough on Sushi Village because where I come from, such establishments are a dime-a-dozen, and really need to work hard to set themselves apart. Back home, Sushi Village would fall somewhere in the middle of the pack - pleasant enough service, a totally predictable menu and bordering on tired decor, but fresh and tasty food. It's really not my... More

we came here for lunch fresh off the piste and were seated after a 15 min wait for a table. It was around 1pm. I would definitely recommend booking for the evening however as we had been turned away on a previous night. The seating sets the scene well. We were in a group of 6 so we were sat... More
