Go to Fuji Market - better food and cheaper. The staff there are JAPANESE people, which means you'll get real Japanese food and real Japanese service. Can't say that for the other place.

My mom, sister and I came recently for lunch, only to find that they only open for dinner unless it is the weekend. I was disappointed and seeing the prices of their food online, I was not too keen on coming. My sister convinced me because she had raved about how good their udon was. We came back for dinner... I come here every time I go to Whistler. Great casual place with yummy food! The service is fast and it's fun to sit at the bar and watch the sushi guys at work.

Dropped in for bite and really glad I did, the shrimp rolls and red hot maki's were truly excellent and the service was friendly and as I was sat at the counter they even made it in front of me, the chef telling me when he was making mine so I could watch, a really exceptional sushi experience Rpb

Excellent Gyoza, plain Udon soup and creative and tasty sushi, as well as Yakitory. We sat at a traditional booth with some view of the mountains, which was fun. Excellent service. Pricey, but they deliver.

Great place in the village to have some top notch sushi. Definitely with stopping by if you are in the area and want some sushi. Staff is great and atmosphere is also really good as well.

Sushi Village located in the Sundial Lodge was just average for me. Nothing spectacular, but the sushi we did order was pretty good.

Sushi Village does a great job overall of offering excellent sushi (and other Japanese food...) but it's location is both a blessing and a curse... located above Showcase (a great snowboard shop by the way) in the upper part of the Village - a stone's throw from the lifts, it is easy to access if you are tired from a... Have visited many times in the last 16 years. Always love the food and new recommendations we were given. I am concerned though about a certain hostess that we had last time. I had heard about her abrupt demeanor from friends and on our last visit did not have to guess who she was. It had been the first time... More

The place opens at 5:30, and expect a wait if you're not there shortly after. Arriving at 6:30pm, we waited 45 minutes for a table for two. That said, the sushi and service was good. Enjoyed all the nigiri I tried - the fish was tasty. Wasn't so crazy about the rolls though - too much sauce/stuff and not enough... More
