My fiancée and I went for lunch last weekend excited for an old favourite. We had been there before and enjoyed it. This time they had a new 50% off deal. Even with the 50% off, each of our plates were 20 dollars. Including drinks and tip we paid over $60 dollars for lunch. The food was good but I... More

It can get pricey as it goes by weight but tonight if you had a beverage then your dinner was 50% off. So much to choose from and it's so good. Place is always busy and worth any wait. Come here every time we come to Whistler. Don't miss it.

Had dinner with my children at the Mongolie as they had their 50% off food promo and thought that's a good deal so why not go for it. While the food (lots to choose from), atmosphere and service didn't disappoint the price definitely did. Had forgotten how expensive it can be, so you will really need to be careful and... More

I'd been to the Mongolie grill in Langley and the one downtown Vancouver and was disappointed each time at how poor the restaurants looked, the service, the lack of keeping the food choices full, etc! BUT when I went to the one IN Whistler I fell in love again! It was clean, well kept, so many different food choices, all... More

This is a place I likely would not repeat. The concept is great: pick your meats, your veggies, spices, sauces and have it cooked in front of you. You expect something like Benihana's, but Benihana's it's not! Also, they charge you per pound rather then by the size of your bowl so you are nervous about putting in too much... More

The food is good and it is great that you can choose your very own assortment of meats and veggies and watch it being cooked. However, because it goes by weight, it is very easy to overspend - my husbands plate ended up costing $35! I think this is a lot for a simple stir fry.

This place was fun and not too expensive, great for a casual meal with a group. You choose your own raw ingredients and seasoning from a buffet, then hand it over to some young chefs who cook it up on a large grill. The charge is by the weight and you can choose only the food you like. Not outstanding... More

Hey! I'm glad you found value in our price by weight system. Add in complimentary soup and rice, friendly staff to share your experience with, and getting the exact meal and proportions you want, and it sounds to me like a great time was had by all. Thanks again for joining us! Hope to see you on your next trip... More

We visited Mongolie Grill at the end of September after a gap (of visiting Whistler) of some six years. This time, we knew what to do, what was worth having and what bulked your meal (and thus the cost) unnecessarily. Service was polite and efficient and the chefs friendly and talkative. Just as good!

Apparently there are Mongolian restaurants in the UK but we had not been to one so this was a new adventure for us. Fortunately we had guides to show us what to do. The whole process revolves around a huge slightly convex hotplate which three chefs with huge spatulas patrol. Having been seated offered drinks and ordering complimentary soup and... More

Wow, amazing review, thank you so much! Thanks for the in depth walk through of your experience, very well done. The chefs wanted to extend an extra thank you for recognizing them and their hard work. It's a wonderful feeling for them to be mentioned in a review. We can't wait to have you again! More

The food was just delicious and it's a cool experience to chose your food and then see the chief cooking it! We are swiss and the price for this was in comparison to Switzerland very low, we paid about 20$ per person and went twice to the buffet. The service was nice, the waiter even asked us about our future... More
