Longhorn Saloon is the old general of Whistler Village - and the BEST patio on a sunny day. Perfectly situated where both gondolas enter town, the people-watching is all-time. There's better pure apres joints, but Longhorn's outdoor setup beats all.

The burgers are great and the location is killer. The best use of this bar is after a day on the slopes. I would not necessarily spend all night there but the afternoon is great there.

Hi JPNewWest, Great to hear you love our new burgers! We have been putting a lot of effort into re-designing our menu recently, and are very excited to be re-inventing ourselves with abundant fresh, local produce! As our new products slowly roll out, it really helps us to shape our future decisions by hearing our guests comments. I would be... More

A group of friends decided to go for some drinks as they were premiering ski movies. Having booked time off work to watch the one advertised and scheduled for sunday 16th november, we turned up were told there was a $5 fee to get in if you weren't a 'local'. Apparently this is identified by having a sticker. Being my... More

I'm a bit 'hoe-hum' on the Longhorn. The location doesn't get any better for people watching, but the food, service and physical restaurant space are below average. Think dark stinky college bar with old chairs and gross stained carpet. Yet…..the place continues to reel in the customers…likely tourists who don't know of better spots in the village. If you are... Came here for lunch before job seeking for the ski season. Spencer was our server and she was very pleasant and went so far as to point us in the right direction for places to look for work! Get a burger! There are so many varieties and they're always good fuel after a long day of activity. I had the... More

This is a good spot to sit outside and relax, have lunch or a beer and some snacks after a day's hiking in summer or skiing in winter. I have done both and it is always very busy and there was always a good atmosphere. The food is the usual Pub fare offered at Whistler, quite good, but the location... More

I loved Longhorns! They do great food, and nice beer for lunch, while Sunday night the dance floor is pumping and great fun. Definitely one of the best nights I had in Whistler.

Sat outside had a GREAT lunch ( I have Celiac Disease so this can be a challenge). The frozen marguerite's were amazing!! The service was above and beyond..not only did CORI find us a place to tie the dog outside of the restaurant, she helped me select a delicious gluten free lunch. Shirley M

I was quite disappointed to see they did not re-build the patio bar. My friends and I always found it one of the best par of our trips to Whistler as the patio bar was always a great social experience. They had a great opportunity do do something spectacular for a new bar concept but missed it.

Hi James, Thanks for providing us with your thoughts, and I look forward to taking this opportunity to connect with you about our new image. I agree with you 100% - the old patio bar was a true Whistler icon and an immense amount of fun! I can recall many wild apres sat right at that bar when I first... More
